She could feel the excitement thick in the air. Waves were pouring off of just about everyone there. Dandelion eyes searched the little crowd around her, landing on Shade. He had overcome so much to make this happen. This pack was his legacy, and she hoped that he would be able to spend the rest of his days leading here. Capella too wished that she would be able to grow old with her little family of misfits. Only the appearance of her real family could make this better. She missed them every second, and regardless of what was happening they were always in the back of her mind.

The chorus of voices raised into the air, telling anyone who happened to be in the area that they were here. Pitch Pine Trail was claiming this territory, and they would certainly be a force to be reckoned with. A smile graced her lips as each wolf joined in after Shade. Karpos' voice was not yet strong enough to compete with his father, but it would be someday. Ill's broken call found it's way in, as Anastasia's beautiful song echoed across the land. Her eyes fell Lachesis who had yet to call into the night, and her gaze was met with a terrible sight. Tonight, when they all should have been happy, it seemed that he was not. Her heart sank and she planned on moving to comfort him, but his howl fell into the sky as well. Capella's own ears touched her skull, and perhaps with a little less enthusiasm than she could have mustered, her own song was lifted into the air.

They were all here now, Ill arriving last, but still there and that was all that mattered to the alpha. They had almost all mustered u the energy to let out long howls, all different kinds too. His eyes looked at them all; Karpos had run inside the den with his sister already. "Welcome home everyone, our journey across territories ends here." He said a bit prideful; it was officially done, if only his sister had been here to see the moment, or Rosealia. He was an alpha to a pack in which his own terms were set, he wasn’t going to live under the rules Elettra had made him live by. He stood before the subordinates and yearlings, all of them he had come to know as friends and family before this.


He knew that they were all the kind of wolf to sacrifice themselves for each other, and he did not see any of them as the kind of wolves to run off from the pack for no reason, there were no deserters here he had the feeling. His eyes had a soft gaze to them, it had been months since he had called himself leader, and back then it had been a short time with limits. He couldn’t accept wolves into Willow Ridge, only Elettra seemed to hold the power and it almost made him feel like he was still a second, just with a fancy title. But this was different, he would work together with Ana to lead, it was not just one wolf, but two. He went, as the first adult, into the pack den, marking the meeting over and the pack theirs, right afterwards, he would go and mark the borders so loners knew to keep out.
