RE: Change of Plans - Jessie - Aug 19, 2013

The power that radiated off of Ice next to her was enough to give her comfort. No longer did the pair need the touch they would normally share with one another to give the other comfort but each other’s presence was surely enough. It was also what helped her confidently and boldly state out the questions that had come to mind for the loner to ask, and though she could almost see the wheels turning and disapproval within Ice’s eyes, she turned it away. Old grumpy snowball of an ass, she thought with an internal laugh. She remained serious though, her own amusement dying when her ears pricked forward, ready to hear what conclusion this man was going to come to with all of her questions. She stared coldly at the man in front of her, listening to what he had to say with an open mind. For all she knew, he could be lying right to their faces…she still gave him the benefit of the doubt though. Pursing her lips, she waited for the rest of her questions to be answered.

Concerning his certain assets she considered what he said. It would be nice to have another wolf helping her hunt. This was still knew territory to her when it came to decent hunting grounds and she wouldn’t mind someone to help out. It also wouldn’t hurt to have extra paws walking over the border and making sure there were not trespassers. The former Swift River pack had many problems with such a thing in the past and it was needless to say that they had not taken it lightly. Nodding her head in showing Reaper that they had both heard him, she turned to Ice, bowing her head to him and giving him the floor. The rest was up to him. He either liked this loner or hated him and the rest would go smoothly from there. Jessie remained in the same defensive position though, ready to strike out if anything was to be amiss.
