RE: Immune - Mercy - Oct 31, 2013

MERCY
get your things, we're leaving
when the morning birds are singing, we're sailing.

There was a lot of tension between the two males, that Mercy could tell for certain. Faol seemed to be even more angry when he found out who Mercy was, and that Crowe was taking care of him. A bit of information had been shared with Mercy regarding Faol, but hs mother was a rather tight-lipped woman and didn't tent to gossip, not even with those with whom she was closest. So Mercy had no clue as to why this man, who her mother had spoken fleetingly but fondly about, was being such a bum. He really didn't seem to like Crowe which put him directly in Mercy's bad book. If someone had a problem with Crowe, then they had a problem with Mercy too. And he could feel Faol's disapproval even from the distance away that he stood.

<b style="font-family:georgia; color:#fefefe;">"Uhuh," He said, when Faol questioned the fact that Crowe had been asked to puppysit while Sagacity ran some of her scouting errands. There was something about the way he spoke about Mercy's mother that ticked the boy off, though. He didn't interpret Faol's anger correctly, and instead took the tone to mean that he had an issue with Sagacity. Though Mercy was at odds with his mother, it was not okay, whatsoever, for some other male to have a problem with her. Mercy couldn't help but growl softly. <b style="font-family:georgia; color:#fefefe;">"Don't talk about my mom," He said, a warning with a glint of his teeth. Even if he wasn't best pleased with his mother, he wasn't going to allow anyone else to be frustrated with her.

He'd had enough of Faol, and he sensed that this argument could just get worse. He looked up at Crowe, then. <b style="font-family:georgia; color:#fefefe;">"Can we go? Please?" He asked, wanting to leave this irritated man far behind.

RE: Immune - Crowe - Nov 18, 2013

*Hands Faol a monkey wrench* throw it in if you want XD

[dohtml]

"A moment please Mercy, will shall leave in a moment."
Crowe addressed Mercy his voice soft and then turned towards Faol. "I see that by your tone my reputation must precede me." There was no menace, no smile no nothing, behind the words. Just calm fact, Crowe had been very wrong before, very insane and quite dangerous especially for a pup. But that was before he had befriended Mercy whom once more made him feel as though he had meaning, and a reason to keep his head level and his temper cool. So that was what he was doing. "Your... concern is misplaced. I mean no harm that is not who I am." After he finished he gave Faol a look that practically begged him not to explain himself for Mercy would then know what Crowe had been in the past.

In Crowes mind if Mercy were to learn of what his mentor had been he may not want anything to do with him. Crowe would be crushed, he knew he would lose his grip for good, and most likely get himself killed. So he implored Faol with nothing more than a gaze to leave it, to trust the once mad wolf, to understand that by his actions at this moment he was changing, trying to leave it behind, to be the symbol of power in Nomads pass instead of the symbol of insanity. Crowe was trying and hopefully this would not hinder his progress, It just had to work.

RE: Immune - Faol - Nov 21, 2013

I'll make this the wrap up-post.

It took Faol by surprise when Mercy growled, telling him not to speak of Sagacity. Had his mother not spoken to the boy about him? However, she passed this wolf as appropriate for guardianship? The thought alone angered him, and made him feel slightly disappointed, but he said nothing. His eyes remained on Crowe, making sure he wasn't using a bipolar front as an advantage if he intended to catch Faol off guard - he was smarter than that. He could tell by the way that Mercy asked him to leave that they would soon be on their way, and for this he was partially glad.

In all honesty Faol knew nothing of Crowe, this whole meeting was entirely of coincidence. However, the white males eyes seemed to soften, almost in a pleading matter. Obviously there was something that he didn't know. Tack it onto the list. There was just something that Faol could smell on him, see in his eyes, that gave away his personality. It rubbed the black male the wrong way from the beginning and he would not soon forget it. Had Mercy not been involved, he imagined their conversation would not have gone as smoothly as it did.

Yellow eyes turned to Mercy, "Goodbye, Mercy," he said with a curt and respectable nod. However, when he turned to Crowe his tone was snarky,"Give my regards to Sage, Shane." he said, shaking free the tension from his ivory dusted pelt. This marked his decision to leave and he made sure to carry himself higher than Crowe as he passed to head in the direction to which he was originally traveling.

Passing by the right side of Crowe, making sure to be out of earshot of Mercy he locked eyes with the white male, his lips curling backwards momentarily like a recoiling snake and spoke,"If you harm either of them - I will have your head," he promised and kept about his path in one fluid motion.
