RE: A new day, a new chance. - Borlla - Jan 13, 2014 [dohtml] She left these matters to her mate, now. The stranger, Jade, had submitted properly, blubbered out what use she could be of to them. The woman seemed like a good candidate for a new Glen wolf, spineless, as of right now, so that some semblance of loyalty could be grown in her, keeping her from fleeing when the flowers bloomed again. Of course, Borlla didn't want a slave, a mindless military, she just wanted respect. She didn't want those that stuck to the fringes, not wanting to get close for fear of building some sort of bond with the wolves that they hunted beside, slept beside. And at her core, she didn't want to be hurt, to wake up one morning and discover another face gone from her lands forever. It filled her with fury, a infinitesimal spark that would inevitably grow into a horrible blaze. The woman held grudges and she held them for a long time. Her tail swayed casually behind her as Phineas grunted, and she sniffed quietly, her cheeks puffing for a moment before deflating. She would easily fall to his side, be his back up, because it was her duty as his mate, and as a member of his pack, even if she could not say that they shared the same rank currently. She realized, as he moved forward, that she hadn't given up the girl's name, nor had the girl shared it with him. Her jaws parted slightly to speak for the lowered woman, but decided that it was best that the girl speak for herself. A trace of a smile came upon her face as the large man took the stranger's muzzle in his jaws, a sign of acceptance, and it grew as he returned to her side, her own muzzle tipping to meet his. As two sets of eyes settled upon the new pack wolf again, Borlla could only hope that this would work in their favor. <b style="color:#32527a"> sorry for this being super rambly RE: A new day, a new chance. - Jaden - Jan 15, 2014 She was in, she had done it. This was her family now! The joyful emotion spread through her body. She could barely hold in all of her excitement. *I can't screw this up! Oh I got a pack!* She thought unable to hide her large happy grin. She staid low and went tense as he, her new Alpha and a white giant, moved forward. His strong jaws came to wrap around her muzzle for a moment. Her heart seemed to swell with the feeling of belonging, like it'd burst. *Don't get too attached, they might not want you around...being adopted, deformed, and of little use.* She told herself coldly. "Jaden, but please call me Jade." Her tone was friendly as she addressed his question. She stood straight now, but kept her head lowered. The silver furred miniature tail wagged slowly behind her. She didn't want them to see her as a not so serious character, nor the owner of some other negative trait. However, she wanted to wag and wag and wag. Ice blue eyes lifted to glance in front of her timidly. They never met another set of orbs but stuck to their paws and the surrounding objects. (Sorry for small post, major brain fart. I wasn't sure what to put...) Re: - Spirit of Wildwood - Jan 15, 2014 A young pronghorn has fallen behind its herd and starved in the snow. +5 Health RE: A new day, a new chance. - Phineas - Jan 23, 2014 Last post for me. <3 [dohtml] [/dohtml] RE: A new day, a new chance. - Borlla - Jan 26, 2014 Pink tongue passed over dried lips as the short-tailed woman before them celebrated her achievement. Borlla couldn't help but think that there wasn't much to celebrate. Perhaps Jaden had earned a bit more warmth, but was she really better off? Ears pulled back, and she sucked in a breath, mustering a smile where Phineas had remained stoic. Even the pale woman couldn't be sure if she was being honest. But let her be enthusiastic. She'd shown more excitement than any wolf that had come to their borders, and perhaps it would benefit them all. She met the man's eyes quickly, just before he turned away, and took a step towards the silver woman. "Come on," She said evenly. Her nose twitched, catching the stale scent of something deceased nearby. The fur along her spine rose in apprehension and selfishness. Phineas had gone off already, leaving Borlla and a near stranger. But there was food and she was not about to leave it behind. Tail swishing, she turned towards the carcass and began towards it. "You can help me carry this back. Keep your teeth to yourself, though." There was a warning tone to her words, saying if you take one bite, that'll be the last bite you get. {exit Borlla} RE: A new day, a new chance. - Jaden - Jan 27, 2014 (Decided to at least try to finish this on my phone.) Jade stood there filled with joy quietly, nodding once in awhile to the other wolves. She listened with great focus and waited for what ever was to happen next. Soon her giant white alpha, now known as Phineas Argyris, left her and Brolla alone on the cold Winter day. She looked over towards the other she wolf near her. The girl made sure to be respectful as she approached the kinda golden furred women. The dead prey animal smelt so good, yet she found that she wasn't all that too hungry for the moment. That wouldn't last very long, considering the weather and work to be done. Every one gets hungry sooner or later. No exceptions for anyone. Nodding at her harsh words she said in a friendly tone, "Promise." Her small sweet smile was reassuring as she lowered her silver-ish head. Young yet strong jaws opened then clasped around the food roughly. Jade lifted her neck up when her company did. *We are going home.* She smiled inwardly, for she'd drop their meaty 'luggage' if she we're to actually do such an happy act. |
