Looking for Tainnsidy - Weldering - Feb 13, 2011 [dohtml] [/dohtml] Looking for Tainnsidy - Adonia - Feb 19, 2011 "It's probably just nothing and me over-reacting too much about change, but it's just the pecking order most likely. I mean, it's hard for me to get used to since I spent all that time alone and without anyone else, by myself. There was no one that I had to respect, and no one that was above me. I could say whatever I wanted and not be punished. Here.. well, there's a much thinner wire that you're trying to cross. One false move and it breaks in half without any previous warning." Adonia shrugged, looking back up at him. "I'll probably get over it though. It just takes me a while to change my ways. Although I don't think my snappy attitude towards most will really ever change." The she-wolf said, smiling mischievously. Thinking to herself, Adonia re-called her goals of trying to change herself to fit in more. For a long time she had never had any friends, that much was a given as a loner. She barely met anyone. It would take her a bit of time to get used to all the faces around now. Looking for Tainnsidy - Weldering - Feb 23, 2011 [dohtml] [/dohtml] Looking for Tainnsidy - Adonia - Feb 24, 2011 The female wolf smiled at Welde in return, once again it seemed, for the umpteenth time. I've always had a problem with authority... he has said, with that silly grin of his. On the outside, he seemed really different than she. Welde towered over her, but was a softy at heart. Adonia was small, but could be quite snappy. Although, sometimes she could be friendly. Only sometimes, though. But yet, were the two of them so different? Their pasts were the same, as well as their fears. The white wolf was pretty sure that if they chatted for a longer time, more similarities would be uncovered. This thought of having someone, really anyone, did really make her happy and bring a slight grin to her face. If there was one wolf, would there not be more? And although she still felt slightly selfish for it, there would be more who, like her, had come to these lands, driven away from packs who no longer wished to accommodate them? She now felt like she saw Welde in a new light. From acquaintance to friend, was that it? She wasn't completely sure, but something was definitely... amiss. Probably not in a bad way but... things had changed. As Welde continued, the smile slightly faded away into a more serious look. "Now now, Welde. You have to learn to obey your superiors!" That tone didn't stay for long though, and melted into a teasing grin of her own. She truly realized that she felt more comfortable than she had for a long time. Once the wolf beside her finished, Adonia considered his words. benefits in remaining with a pack? We'll see... Hopefully... you're correct, she thought to herself. But, I have a strange feeling that you are. Now content, the she-wolf turned to the mouth of the cave. With a jolt of surprise, she realized they had been there for a long while, now. How could time pass so quickly? Ah well, who cares. She was having quite a bit of fun, so what the weather is outside couldn't stop her! The sun was setting now, but nimbus clouds loomed ominously in the distance. "Sure," the female wolf replied. "I'd like that." Adonia stood up and stretched, her muscles slightly stiff from all the sitting she had just recently done. Suppressing a yawn, she turned and gazed over at Weldering again before beginning to leave the mouth of the cave. After reaching the entrance, she turned her head back to see if he was still following. "C'mon, slow-poke!" She grinned, teasing him. "It'll be dawn before you get your bones all the way over here!" Laughing, she turned around again and braced herself for the sprint that she figured would be coming after these words. I'd beat him, no problem. Adonia thought to herself with a smirk. Easy. Scuffing her paws on the ground, she looked around again to see if he'd moved from that spot yet. "All's fair in love and war!" she quoted, swatting playfully at the male's maw as he drew near. Adonia could be very competitive at times, and always wanted to win, whether she was at a disadvantage or not. This time she seemed sure of herself, and Weldering could probably see the confidence that was emanating from her being. Or, maybe not. Sometimes she could keep her emotions to herself. Either way, if Welde looked her in the eye, he would probably see the ambitious sparkle in her eyes. Now turning around to see what the land around her had to offer, she noticed that there was a potentially dangerous race track. Climbing up hadn't been easy, so getting back down on the ground surely wouldn't be either. It seemed like it would be very easy to simply slip, fall, and hurt your head on one of the sharp rocks jutting out from the side of the steep slope. Or they could take the longer path, but even then the width of the passageway was terrifyingly small, and a wolf that was too excited, like herself for example, could push the competitor off the edge, or even fall herself! Not wanting Welde or herself getting hurt, she said, "Well, I suppose we could wait until we get down to flat land to have that race of ours."
