Damascus nodded; he would have no problems going and seeking Ruiko out in due time to talk with him about such a thing. After all, it was apart of the offer he had originally made the Tainn — that he would help Swift River however he could. As it were, he was their factotum already, in a sense. Being a body that was a surplus to the numbers didn't mean anything now that others had come out of the woodwork, even though those others were technically mostly the Tainns themselves come back from wherever.
Though at the offer to hunt with another, the tawny nomad had to mull it over. It had been a while since he had hunted with another, so he had his doubts of joining Indru. But ultimately in the end, Damascus could not pass up the chance to possibly prove himself worthy. “Certainly. It would be a pleasure to hunt with another for a change.” And once that confirmation had been given, the two wolves marched off together to begin their tracking and their hunt.
And for Damascus, it was yet another chance to get a lay of the land.
