RE: Flesh Into Gear - Miccah - Apr 30, 2014 He watched with a plesant gaze as Nina and Pakuna got briefly reacquainted with each other. So Nina had been part of this Copper Rock Creek? Interesting. He was sure to find some time and ask her about it later, but for now, he had to get back into focus. Pakuna was beginning to speak, and a smile tugged at his muzzle at her words and what it caused Nina to do. The woman finished speaking and silence surrounded them all three. Her words had been blunt, but sprinkled with truth. Nina, Miccah. I says before- I be lookin' for a new family. I b'lieve I'd make a good Advisor, I do. Me legs may be old but me heart isn't, nor me mind." Miccah's blue orbs roved over Pakuna's figure. She was far in age, but she was in good health. His gaze then turned to Nina, his blue eyes searching her green ones. It was clear that the Lady of the Thickets was close to this woman, trusted her even. Miccah knew trust was hard to come by, especially in Nina's case. They were making progress, him and Nina. It was in the way that she had turned and searched for his mutual approval. She had already accepted Pakuna, now all that was left was his own words to seal the deal. Mulling it over one last time, he made his decision final. Nodding to Nina, he turned to Pakuna with a smile. Opening his maw, he spoke. "a friend of Nina's is a friend of mine. Like I said before, I believe you will become a great asset to our pack." The alpha moved and grasped Pakuna's muzzle in a firm, but gentle grasp. Pulling away, Miccah circled Pakuna to mark her with his scent, the scent of Secret Woodlands. Facing the elder once again, Miccah nodded. "Welcome to Secret Woodlands, Pakuna." Smiling kindly, he nodded to both women in farewell. "I'm sorry to be leaving so soon, but I have duties to attend to. I will seek you soon, Pakuna. Until then, Nina and Pakuna." With a gentle flick of his black banner, the alpha turned and dissapeared into the shadows of his home. {Miccah exit} RE: Flesh Into Gear - Pakuna - May 08, 2014 @Nina, would you like to wrap it up? We can fade. [dohtml] Pakuna bows her head at Miccah's approach. She remains relaxed as he takes her muzzle in his jaws to mark her as a new member. After his release, she nods and speaks, "Thank ye, Miccah. I be seein' ye soon." After the wolf walks off, she turns toward Nina. "Would ye like to show me back, Nina?" The older woman's head tilts slightly as she asks the bracken woman diagonal from her. Excitement began to stir within the Atea woman's chest. She finally had a family again- it was like a second Copper Rock Creek. She was anxious to prove her worth, but she knew such would come in time.
Quietly now the woman steps forward, her nose lifting as she scents the breeze. It was very fortunate she had come to this pack's borders. Who else knows where she would have ended up? She enjoyed the general area that Copper Rock had once been in, thus is why she crept around this part of the Lore. The Thicket of Secrets would be a new home to adapt to. She had no doubts that she would fit in here.
Her luck with other wolves had been quite good. She had never gotten into a serious fight in the Lore. Pakuna had met several interesting characters, but Nina was the friend she felt she was closest to. Slightly turning her head now, the brown coated woman awaits Nina's next move. She was ready to go and begin a new chapter of her life. RE: Flesh Into Gear - Nina - May 16, 2014 [dohtml]
