RE: my scars remind me the past is real - Rory - Sep 15, 2014 Hello mama! *hugs* [dohtml] [/dohtml] RE: my scars remind me the past is real - Ash - Sep 27, 2014 [dohtml] He was so angry, his glare piercing his subordinates, before it snapped back to the white woman as she began to speak. And directly to him. It was as if she was intentionally trying to draw out his soft side, something that normally no one saw. His lip curled in disdain and made no motion towards her. He listened to her story, allowing it to sink into his brain. He made no way of comfort, he simply continued to stare at her, his mossy green gaze looking towards his partner to see what she had to say, his eyes curiously sweeping over her beautiful gray coat. As he had said, he would allow her to make the final decision and as it came, the Hervok's gaze moved towards the stark white bloodied paw that Athena had thrown towards him. He once again realized how much of a killer she really was, just like him. He looked away, not adding anything to what Nari had to say. Athena would go with Kassander and the two alphas would be on their way to visit little Rory.
But just as that thought whispered in his mind, the small child raced towards him and was immediately bundled in his warm chest. Immediately, the man's leg moved to cover the vision that the child might see of the bloodied paw and was pleased to see that he was the first one that she ran to. Aurora spoke a word, and a ghost of a smile twitched onto the corner's of Ash's lips before it was gone. Clearing his throat, he made eye contact with Nari for a moment, mentioning for her to come with him. Flicking his tail behind him, he avoided any eye contact with Athena as he spoke to the small child, "Come, my little princess. Miss Narimé and I would like to play a game with you. Here's how we play, whoever makes it back to the den right wins....ready....set go...." Hopefully this playfulness would work to get the child away from the scene and provide an exit for both alphas. Of course, both alphas would let the child win so that she could have a certain satisfaction, and they were going to let her get a small head start.

[dohtml]She wasn't as scared as she should have been from the snaps of her leaders but she knew better then to start acting back, like she just had done to them. Lowering herself to the ground slowly she pointed her muzzle down into the ground underneath her paws. "My apologies, I should have known better. I promise it wont happen again." Letting the meeting go on the female figured she didn't have any business left here. At least not much important business. Especially since it seemed she wasn't helping others very much... When Ash was trying to dismiss the child Silver saw it as a time for her to dismiss herself also. Trying her best to remain silent she slid out from the back of the meeting. Perhaps it would just be best to do a border round or two then head to the tunnels of caves she called home for the night. She had a feeling that the leaders would want to talk to her later about her actions at this small gathering. Though for now she would but herself away like she was a young pup being put into a sort of "timeout" for their bad behavior and actions. Hoping that Ash or Narime would catch her quick nodding to them she kept low while taking quick paced strides to disappear into the heart of Whisper Caverns. RE: my scars remind me the past is real - Athena - Sep 27, 2014 As she waited for anyone to respond to her explanation, her eyes looked from Ash to Narimé, pleading with them to understand. She had not meant for this to happen. She had fought as hard as she could to get back to them, couldn't they see that? All the evidence she gave to them. They had to believe her. Athena had only told them the truth and she had really meant that she didn't want to leave anyone of them. She knew the heartbreak of someone leaving. Athena witnessed it first hand so many times before and would never want to inflict that same pain to anyone else if she could help it. She loved Ash, respected Narimé, and was loyal to the pack. They had to see that. They had to. Narimé finally started to give her verdict and Athena held her breath. As soon as the words 'welcome back' were spoken, she was able to breath again. Nodding at Narime's condition, "Indeed, I will give you them very soon." Another meeting would be needed to alert the rest of the pack of the possible threat to them. However, Athena doubted the rest of Zeus's pack would come after her. They were probably thankful of her for killing him for them. Narime's attention then turned to Kassander and Silver. She felt bad for causing trouble with them, but these were Narime's subordinates and were her responsibility and could talk to them anyway she pleased. She then turned back to her and told her of Rory's welfare. Dipping her head, "Thank you, I -," but before she could finish, the light the kept her going, appeared. A sigh escaped her lips as she saw how healthy and alert she was. Her tail began to wag excitably and all the sadness and anger washed away from her face. "Oh my baby! Mama's home now." Kassander then spoke, calling for her to come with him. Still gazing at her daughter, "That won't be necessary right now. I need to spend time with my daughter." She was to approach her daughter when a single word escaped the little girl's lips. With that, her eyes looked up to who she was talking to. Finally noticing that Ash's gaze seemed to avoid hers, she realized that he couldn't even look at her. Her eyes saddened as she realized what this meant. She was nothing to him now. She was shut out completely. Tears pooled in her good eye, as her gaze pleaded for his mossy green eyes to meet hers. A soft whine rumbled trough her chest before the gentle voice broke her attention on Ash. Rory was talking to her now, but something was wrong. Did Rory not know who she was? Was she gone that long that her own daughter didn't remember the one who gave her life? "It's mama, Rory. It's me, your mama!" The tears threatened to fall, but it was when Ash spoke, did they begin to fall. Not only did he shut her out, but he was trying to take Aurora from her or keep her from her. Anger seeped into her, but the only sign of it was in her eye. "Don't Ash. Don't do this to me. You know what I've been through. Don't do this now." Her voice was gentle, pleading for him to understand. To let her back in again. RE: my scars remind me the past is real - Narimé - Sep 30, 2014 [dohtml]
RE: my scars remind me the past is real - Rory - Oct 05, 2014 Sorry @Athena, it's no harsh feelings! [dohtml] [/dohtml] RE: my scars remind me the past is real - Ash - Oct 12, 2014 [dohtml] The man shot a quick nod of thanks towards Narimé for hiding the bloodied paw from the sight of the innocent child. And while he had been successful at hiding the gory sight from Aurora's eyes, he had not been able to hide the view of Athena. Ash knew that the only reason he knew Athena is because he had known her for so long. Knew what her body looked and felt like and knew what her blood smelt like. Rory was still in the early stages of development when she was with her mother. Meaning, that she would only classify the woman by her scent and that alone, which is why the mother was probably most unrecognized right now. His heart went out to the white woman, but he remained stern and cold, his heart twisting harshly when Athena's pained words reached his ears and poured into his soul. Once again, he was stuck between two wolves that he loved deeply, and once again he was choosing a child. It was for the best though, and Ash knew that he had finally lost all hope with rekindling their relationship completely. There would never be a: like it was before. That song was over.
His new adopted child grabbed his attention immediately, and Ash took no time in arguing with her. As soon as her little legs began to move, Ash looked towards Kassander, making sure he understood what he would have to do with Athena, before he too bounded off with the child. Now was a time to comfort her and be the father that had also left her. He knew that she knew that he was not the father that had sired her, and it meant the world to him to know that she had not shunned him as easily as Aphrodite and Elliot had. He was her Guardian and Protector, and he wouldn't change his position on that for anything.

RE: my scars remind me the past is real - Athena - Oct 15, 2014 [dohtml] Her pleadings fell on deaf ears as both Ash and Narime said nothing to her. Athena didn’t expect Narime to, since she felt like Narime showed the most compassion here, and she wasn’t the one she was pleading with. But, Ash said nothing to her, he didn’t even look her in the eye. She was crushed by his cold shoulder. However, when Rory spoke, Athena’s world was turned upside and thrown every which way. ”No, mama” she said. Those words echoed in head. No, mama, no. Mama, no. Her world fell apart in that instant. Everyone she lived for in that moment rejected her. But, the most painful was her daughter’s rejection. She could hear her heart shatter into unamendable pieces. Narime’s soft words seemed to be muffled and quiet in her ears as she watched her child run away with Ash. Her world was zoned around her daughter leaving and it seemed like everything was in slow motion. Narime too left, running after the two and it was only her and Kassander left. She was speechless, her ears were ringing and her tears were beginning to pour out of her eye. Her body started to tremble as she stood there. Her head began to shake in disbelief and shock. ”No, no no no no… This isn’t happening. No, please no.” She stumbled hysterically as her legs began to pace back and forth before she took off suddenly, leaving Kassander to himself. She needed to be alone and away from everything that reminded her of her daughter’s and Ash’s rejection. No, mama, no -Exit- |
