RE: They are the hunters we are the foxes - Aponi - Apr 25, 2015

The hope was crushed quickly and Aponi had to forcefully swallow the saliva that had built up in her jaw at the thought of nourishment. The silver yearling clenched her fangs together in an attempt to keep from lashing out at the uselessness of the girl before her. In the end she wasn't all that useless and the plume stopped twitching for a moment as she listened to the news of tracks.  Icy eyes narrowed in on what Noble had gestured to, a set of fowl tracks in the snow a few yards higher than where the pup stood. It took only a moment for her mind to piece together what would have to happen and then a moment longer for her body to carry out the plan.

Moving slowly so as to not frighten off her new 'friend' Aponi made her way up the slope until she stood by the dark girls side. Then without a second thought she shoved past her with enough force to hopefully knock her off balance and then bounded after the tracks. Even the biggest species of fowl would only make a proper meal for one and the yearling wasn't about to share the first proper meal she had had in weeks. The Aquila felt no remorse for her actions, she was looking out for the only person she cared about; herself. The pup behind her was merely a pawn that she was done playing with and so the silver fae shot off like a bullet leaving Noble behind in her snowy dust. Perhaps Aponi would be nice and leave the bones full of marrow, then again perhaps not.
