RE: Intermittent - Renier - Mar 03, 2015 [dohtml] I left a clouded mind and a heavy heart [/dohtml]
The silvery and ink cloaked Archer answered his call with no hesitation. There was no amount of self control that could hold back the grin that edged up the side of his muzzle. They had hardly spoken, and yet a lot had been said. He still felt uncertain of things, but they were not with enough reason for him to fret over them now. Ren liked to see what happened, rather than what could. The rogue hadn't exactly thought this through. Morganna had bumped into him before, but she hadn't come flying at him in turn. There was no lag in his stride, or change in his course. The snow felt like it was pulling against him, but he raced ahead. Suddenly frame crushed into his chest, and he was entrapped in her thick coat. His breath shot out of his lungs by surprise and force. How quickly he felt her warmth, but how more swiftly she had gotten a hold of him. There was a part of his body ready to flinch, to growl, to fight when teeth meet his face. The precision, and delicate aim had him struck in awe, and a smidgen of fear. It was not something physical, he realized. It was entirely something else. Panting, he licked his jowls, and carried a loose smile. Seeing that she in turn looked a bit weary he took in a long pull of air. "A draw?" He murmured. Renier was soon left, left standing with a quizzical brow. The smile she gave carried helped smooth his features, and he followed her thinking he would do so far beyond the base of a tree. {end} |
