RE: pagan poetry - Nova - Mar 12, 2015 [dohtml] It was hard to not notice the massive commotion going on at the borders. Nova had not been close initially, but all the yelling, screams, and growls coming from the border drifted through the tangled woods towards her. Nova's heart sped, dread filling her veins. Not only did she know Camio was over there, she could smell him on the air. Before she realized it she was running, not a girl built for speed but she managed as well as she could to race towards the noise. The tang of blood was thick on the air, only sending her into a more panicked frenzy to make it to Camio. She dreaded to think what could have happened, images of Camio hurt flashing through her mind but not enough to distract her from getting there. "Camio! Where are you! Camio! Pleasebeokaypleasebeokay," She yelled as she barreled through everything in her path. It took some time, and as she finally burst through the trees her yellow eyes flashed over the scene, trying to take it all in. Blood stained the upturned snow, and Iopah could be seen chasing a half-eaten coyote, but Nova cared little for anything else but Camio. Once her eyes set on him she ran to his side, whimpering in fear. "Camio! Dear, are alright?! Are you hurt?!" She asked frantically, but didn't wait to hear an answer before prodding through his fur with a searching nose. She found and fussed over his bloodied paw, tongue clearing off spatters of blood. [/dohtml] RE: pagan poetry - Camio - Mar 22, 2015 @Iopah @Lugh WARNING: Rather foul language!!! Before he could get another lunging move Lugh ran off and Nova appeared. While the tawny Zamora should have appreciated the help his lover wanted to give him but instead it upset him. "Nova!! I'm fine go get that fucking inconsiderate bastard! I want his pelt for the den." Perhaps he was letting his anger get the best of him but if they were already this far in to attacking the male he wanted the job done. Of course his anxious nerves may have settled a bit when he say Iopah give up the chase. If she was giving up that certainly meant that the job had to be done, for now, right? "Iopah.." He looked over his pack mate quickly as she made her approach. "Are you okay? You certainly put up a good fight against that little son of a bitch." Camio chuckled before taking a seat on the thicket floor. Looking down at his left front paw. It was a bit nicked up and bleeding. Nova had cleaned it up for the most part with her licking and grooming yet he still felt the need to clean it himself. Leaning down to lick at it he felt the sting of it. How deep had the nicks been? Looking between the two woman he offered a smile to each of them. "Don't think anyone from his place will be messing with the Woodland wolves for a while, that is if he can make it home." His tail thumped against the ground heavily as he found amusement in his dark humor. RE: pagan poetry - Iopah - Mar 22, 2015 [dohtml] Loud, angry words. She recognized Camio's voice and her pace sped up, lips pulling back from teeth in the ready. Whatever game the Black Thorn wolves were playing with them she was going to finish, and she was going to win at their game. Whoever this was now, they had picked the wrong woman to fuck with. Her dark lips went back and pale ears went up. The ear was still bleeding and her heart was pounding with adrenaline and fury. It bleed steadily, a thin rivulet staining the ivory fur a shocking crimson. Other than a low growl she made no announcement upon her return to the scene. It took a few minutes for her features to change, she glanced from Nova to Camio with eyes that probably shone more bloodred than gold. Where was the enemy, her bloodlust demanded to know. It did not appear to be either, though her gaze lingered more severely on Nova. Through the hazy mist of red she'd deduced it was the leggy girl that Camio had been yelling at just moments ago. Her ears remained high, the left damp with blood to her current state of oblivion. Iopah. The word, her own name, spoken aloud was enough to rip her from the haze. She gave a shake of her head, enough to clear her mind and imprint the rusty silhouette of an ear on the side of her face. Her throat cleared and she swallowed down blood that wasn't hers. She tried again, voice soft and hoarse. "I'm fine." Camio had settled down to inspect his wounds. Iopah watched in silence, a little too on edge still to do the same. She was vaguely aware of the smell of her own blood, her ears folded a little and she sniffed around. The movement caused a sharp inhale and a soft whine, a pale foreleg came up to gingerly touch the ear. Once she would have gone to @Aideen for the injury, but the close friend was still missing. She would have gone to @Nina, if not for the distant awkwardness between them. It had started after their discussion and Iopah didn't know the cause nor how to fix it; Nina had not been mad that day and nothing had been said since. Camio's smile was countered with a scowl towards the blackberry brambles, "They're idiots, they'll be back." The expression softened and she turned back to him, indicating his wound. "Nina should look at that." With that she turned and left them, but not for the healer. Only one would have the patience for the rage that still seeped through her seams. Likely the fight had woken @Koda anyways, though he would be surprised at the sight of such a bloodied and savage-looking Iopah. -Fade to Black-
