RE: We all fall down - Namid - Mar 23, 2015 [dohtml] As she swallowed the last bit of liver, Namid watched Haine make away like a vulture with a trailing line of intestine following after her. A slight frown marred her maw, as she knew that only the best was reserved for certain wolves of stature. Before the dusty she-wolf had taken the prized organ she should have gone for something else, such as the meat of a thigh. Though Vespertio wasn’t there, he would still have top option of the best picks. She wasn’t sure she liked the glint that she saw in the woman’s gaze, a spark in the back that hinted at rebellion. Perhaps, if she wanted to keep her spot, she would need to show a bit more backbone. This was a new concept to the pale woman, but her instincts would guide her through it. In a flash she was on her paws, teeth nipping at the ears of the now lower female and a growl rumbling her chest to show her discontent. “Do not eat what your position does not allow,” She said, her tone low and commanding. Stepping away, she left the intestine to the woman. She was still skinnier than she should have been, and she had already started her consumption. Namid doubted anyone would want her seconds. Moving to the carcass she crouched in front of the open gut, flashing her teeth and arching her tail to show possession and to let her know that she was to have no more part of the innards until told otherwise. Turning back to the deer, she once again began her meal with a faint sense of guilt at the pit of her belly but that was overcome by a sense of newfound power. Fade |
