RE: breath of a fish - Skadi - May 12, 2015

"Garmr" eep, sorry for all the tags!

[dohtml]

Garmr spoke and fumes rose to curl about them as they walked. She glanced over at her brother uneasily. Her knowing something over him was a rare occurrence. He was the ring-leader and she was the simple pawn, this did not sit well with her. It felt like the universe was slipping sideways. To add to the imagined her effect she tripped over wilted vegetation and shriveled roots. Skadi could not have lead in any sense of the word even if Garmr had sanctioned it.

Her nose wrinkled at a certain sourness. It was not the stink or the death that surrounded them, but mention of their son. He was an embarrassment that Skadi could never shake no matter how much she tried. Garmr had wiped his hands of the child, leaving Skadi solely with the disappointment. She nodded mutely, of course. Without a word Skadi lead her mate packmate ruler to the Oak Tree Bend borders. This was her lot in life. Questions had long since been beaten out of her, but who knows what would have become of in another family. Thoughts were like witches and Skadi was already cursed. They still had a part to play and Skadi had willingly offered her hand in the crime.
