RE: you can dig me up a grave - Gent - May 07, 2015

It seemed it might finally be over. The younger man writhed under him, trying with everything he had to escape Gent's hold. The Lieris man gritted his teeth as he fought to keep the situation under his control, though still remained careful about how much pressure he applied and where. It was until, most likely driven by desperation, Bane's hind legs began to claw in deep, carving into his flesh that Gent retaliated with a quick bite, hard enough to teach the boy better. Both of their energies were faded, but Gent still held him for some time, making sure that this was truly the end. He wouldn't disrespect Bane by tapping out for him.

He removed the paw from Bane's throat, placing it in the dirt beside his head. Still he did not remove himself from the dominant position, in case the boy still had fight left in him enough to turn the tables.

"Is it settled?" he asked, breathless between pants. "You know, you're going to be one hell of a guardian."

RE: you can dig me up a grave - Kova - May 07, 2015

Pushing and pulling like the tides of the ocean, Bane and Gent struggled against each other. Kova was happy to see that biting was kept to a minimum and that the two wolves really weren't accruing  any injuries from this battle. He was glad because whenever he had thought about wolves battling for rank he had imagined the scene being rather bloody even if the wolves didn't kill each other. This though, this made Kova much less unsure about the whole idea of pushing around a pack mate. It was clear to him that they weren't doing it out of anger at each other, but simply to see who was the strongest. The young wolf knew that the strongest wolves generally dwell in the higher ranks keeping the pack strong. So it was only natural for another wolf who thought he was stronger than his superior to challenge them much like Gent had done with Bane.

Still, Kova felt bad for Bane. He could see now that the dark wolf was losing and Kova wasn't sure if he liked Gent enough to have him lording over everyone. Well that was if Gent acted like that. Kova wasn't sure as of yet. Maybe he would turn out to be a good man like Bane was. However, Bane had been a good wolf from the start, and Kova would not have minded taking orders form the Aranna wolf. One day maybe I'll be strong enough to take somebody on... He thought quietly momentarily forgetting about his own fight with the lone wolf. Kova had lost that battle, but he had giving as much as he had taken.

Suddenly the two males stilled. Kova looks over their forms excitedly wondering who had come out on top. “It's over?” He said this question aloud though the young lad hadn't meant to. He shifted to the right taking the weight off of his left foreleg, then whisked his tail back and forth in a slow wag. The young wolf watches the finale taking close note of the victor. Then he waits patiently for the wolves to break apart before attempting to slip by them and into the den.

(This may or may not be an exit post for Kova depending on whether you guys want to talk to him or just exit)

RE: you can dig me up a grave - Bane - May 12, 2015

He was tired, this much was obvious, though at the larger man panted, Bane's body remained tensed, ready to spring into action as stamina and adrenaline pushed through him - though went no where. It frustrated him not being able to move, to bound around his opponent, snapping at vulnerable areas to get him to submit he tried himself out circling about. Taking a deep sigh, the man finally went slack, followed by a huff and a nod of his head the best he could do pinned to the ground. He did not say anything to Gent, merely getting up when allowed with a snort of the dirt from his nose and a glance to Kova. Yet another nod was given, taking a few steps towards the growing gray boy with a slight limp in his more or less injured paw from the bite it had received. Now with the victor set, Bane slipped away silently off to do as he had originally intended, yet a step lower amongst the pack.
