Nape drew round as she watched her tired mate drift her way. His unfluid motion was clear he had tried to get here as fast as he could, maybe too fast. Face was a small frown, and yet her tail wagged against her hips encouraging him. He could rest much better now, safe and sound at home. She would have nothing to worry about, and neither would he. One rest when they might both catch up on some needed sleep. She was sure he needed it much, much more. A thin smile was reply to his own response. Pale cran gave a nod and at his direction she lead the way back at a steady pace. {end} [/dohtml] Half To A Missing Piece - Vlarindara - Apr 13, 2011 [dohtml] OOC: -slinks in to finish her 'escorteee' mission! :3- teehee... Vlarindara had remained a distance away from the two wolves, allowing herself to settle quietly in the woods between them and their lands. She was far enough away not to hear the muted voices and soft undercurrents of conversation, nor was she close enough to see either leader of Grizzly Hollow. She was however close enough to see when the pair started back her direction...or rather the direction of the den. Gathering her feet beneath her large frame, the white female padded quietly off to the side and out of the path of both wolves, only to flank around beside them as they walked. She remained quiet throughout the trek back, her white pelt occasionally flashing through the darker colors of the trees to their left flank...but would disappear just as quickly as she once more ranged a few feet farther from the pair to continue the watch of their surroundings. Once the trio were in sight of the den, Vlarindara picked up the pace and ambled back onto the grounds ahead of them..and a little off to the left before stretching and laying down inside the circle of trees. She hadn't done nothin'... |
