RE: Broken Timber Pines Pack Thread - Eirian - Mar 16, 2016 [dohtml] A solemn nod of his head was all Eirian could manage in response to Iopah's words after a step back and a clearing of her throat followed his submissive gesture. Rounded russet ears pivoting about when the lighter woman tagged on the lack of communication toward her daughters about the current predicament regarding their absent father. He spoke not a word as one last nod of thanks was offered to him, citrus irises watching the pale coated female retreat behind a wall of vegetation that formed a vast majority of their home toward the nearest border. Soon his own limbs began to leave the unceremonious scene of his crowning, opting to head for a break in the timbers where he knew plenty of hares to forage for whatever it was they ate. Allowing the matriarch time to herself patrolling the length of their borders. Besides, his stomach was beginning to rumble anyways from his acting. Only when his dark agouti frame fully exited the immediate area did he allow a smirk to finally surface upon his ebony lips, a quickened pace of his swaying banner following shortly after. It was a test to his self control keeping a snort or laugh from becoming verbal. This entire ordeal was like taking candy from a baby. RE: Broken Timber Pines Pack Thread - Iopah - Jun 14, 2016 [dohtml] Iopah circled once at the mouth of the main den and laid down. She was restless and uncomfortable, despite having a full stomach due to all the rabbits a pack member had managed to catch. The past few weeks had a strange sense of expectancy, as if everything was about to go either very bad or very good. Perhaps it was just the strangeness of having Koda and Ember back. She felt like she should be comfortable around them, that she should be the most around them, but she hardly saw either of them. Presumably they were both busy - her mate was always dutiful and her daughter was technically an adult now. It seemed every time she saw Ember, she wanted to ask about Bracken; a question Ember likely was tiring of. And Koda might have been forgiven, but there was still so much changed between them to go back to the way they were immediately. At the moment there was nothing that need to be done. Most of the rag-tag team had stayed, despite the loss of Erebos. They had diligent guards and devoted hunters at the moment. Iopah stretched out with a groan and watched the forest. Maybe she just needed a rest and everything would seem better afterwards. RE: Broken Timber Pines Pack Thread - Koda - Jun 15, 2016 @Iopah [dohtml] [/dohtml] RE: Broken Timber Pines Pack Thread - Eirian - Sep 09, 2016 Creamy limbs patrolled the mud riddled lands of his kingdom, squishing fallen plant life into the soppy mess while citrus eyes scanned the still standing summer dried vegetation that now could not keep up with the onslaught of rain that bombarded the pack and today was no exception with a patchy grey sky that not only threatened, but promised more after dumping its water on them just a couple short hours ago. Eirian's pelt had yet to fully dry from the first round and the Pines Patriarch was so eager to be drenched again by mother nature.
A quick patrol around the borders with nothing amiss brought his coppery frame back towards the heart of the territory, limbs coiling then releasing to spring his weight up onto one of many fallen timber soldiers that gave their humble abode its namesake. From up here he wouldn't have to worry about the mud that already tarnished the normally creamy tinted hairs of his undercarriage and legs that now resembled an off shade of beige nor find himself hidden from the small collection of wolves under his rule should one dare need his attention. The pack ran fluidly on its own with each member going about their own business and Erian was content to leave it as it was. He reigned supreme, they worked diligently. Why fix what wasn't broken in his eyes? |
