RE: lake children - Staleek - Oct 01, 2015 [dohtml] There was a soft sigh as his sister snapped at him for rushing her, saying she hadn’t figured out how to poison the lake yet. He had little doubt that his sister would either figure it out soon or drop it in a trash pile depending on how she viewed it so he just sighed and nodded, his impulsive nature wanting things on the ‘here and now’. He would have liked to skip the planning stages, taking a whole measure ones cut twice approach, but his sister didn’t operate that way, which meant he would be waiting. She gave an almost dismissive (to him) answer, saying she was going to think about the plan and he knew the conversation was done at that point, no questions asked and no further pressing. Tauza asked if the two of them should look for mother or go seek out the other pack and he didn’t have to think about it for long. “Let’s go see the other pack. Personally, I don’t care where mother or her precious Duck is… I only care about where we are, and what is gonna happen to us.” He complained with a slight eyeroll as he turned and started to walk in the general direction to see if he could sniff out the other pack, perhaps run into a wolf or two from there. His stomach rumbled slightly, and he made a note that they needed food too, which meant some hunting had to take place for the both of them. Either way, Staleek liked the freedom they had without their mother around. |
