RE: looking up - Yuka - Jul 08, 2015 [dohtml] On any normal day, Yuka would not have minded heeding his mother’s call, feeling that it was of no importance and she just needed some company. Usually, if it was something to do with the pups, his mother would send Ash out to fetch him, but never would they call. So when his mother’s call urgently asked for him and some other pack mate that he had never laid eyes on, Yuka was quick to respond. His muscles tensed at the, almost, instant response that his body did towards his mother. His paws were quick, and he used his muscles to push him forward. As he passed through the territory, his breath came in short gasps, knowing full well that with all the muscle he had put on, his speed and stability would be lower. Ash had warned him of this and told him to ration well when responding to a call. Still not use to such a thing, the Thorben knew that he would definitely have to practice this for next time. When he arrived at the scene, Narimè had already disappeared, no doubt investigating whatever she had summoned him for. His nose quickly picked up the scents of two other wolves and Yuka was quick to follow their trail, determining quickly that this was the reason his mother had called him. Confident that he was heading in the right direction, the man moved to the shadows, his back muscles flexing effortlessly with each step. Ash’s training had done in well when it came to his strength, and Yuka was lucky to have him as his tutor. Eventually, Yuka did catch up with his mother, his amber teal flecked eyes dancing mischievously from the shadows. So that his mother knew that he was here, he let out a deep growl, allowing his voice to travel towards her in the most comforting of manners. He was much larger than her now and could be quite the intimidating figure should he choose to be. Hopefully, this encounter did not turn to such measures of violence. He knew that it was one thing that his mother, usually, tried to avoid. |
