RE: Beneath this bold and brilliant sun - Arion - Sep 18, 2015 quick exit post :3 [dohtml] As the male head-honcho spoke Arion’s attention waivered—the only thing he was concerned about was sharing a den area with his playmates! Different scenarios swarmed his thoughts as Koda spoke, his denim blue’s glazed over as he daydreamed about the adventures that he and the princesses could have together. There were going to be so many activities!!! His body was practically vibrating with excitement as he (im)patiently waited for the male to stop with his announcements and end the meeting. It seemed as though things were going smoothly and quickly—which was exactly what the boy wanted. There was no time to waste—they were using up precious play time! It seemed as though his prayers were answered—with Koda’s announcement to visit the neighbouring pack the meeting was brought to a close. Little R desperately wanted to explore more of the territories bordering their own, just as Koda encouraged, but he knew he wouldn’t be able to unless he was with another. Perhaps he could convince one of the sisters to join him… or drag his father along on an adventure. Certainly his father would be willing to explore with him—or even his mother! Arion was lucky that he had been born into a pack with so many playmate opportunities. He could not help but wonder if pups in other packs were as lucky as he was… what did they do if they didn’t have playmates? Did they go stir-crazy by themselves? While he was born to a litter of one, he had been given ‘sisters’ by the pack he belonged to—which worked just fine for him! With a mischievous smile perched neatly across his maw, the boy glanced up at his mother as Iopah approached them to discuss the plans she had mentioned. The fun was about to start and he couldn’t wait! Arion fade out. RE: Beneath this bold and brilliant sun - Zia - Sep 25, 2015 Slight PP of Inkheart's exit, since he is no longer active. [dohtml]
Sapphire eyes narrowed beneath pale lids, flashes of determination...unwilling to yield in the face of either danger or ignorance. While Koda himself had not been present to witness the skirmish at the borders, news traveled fast in the Pines. Zia was pleased to see that he was on the same wavelength as she, Iopah and the others were. Further proof that his intolerance for volatile visitors enforcing that his dedication to these wolves was true. With a soft rumble in her throat, Zia dipped her chin in a short, firm nod of agreement. Her eyes then fell to all of the gathered pups. Be they of her blood or not, it made no difference. She would watch over them, protect them like they were her own. Given the area they had chosen to settle in, nearby Secret Falls, the silver second knew that it would only be a matter of time before either Koda or Iopah arranged a visit with the wolves of Oak Tree Bend. Zia knew the region well, and while she normally would have been happy to accompany her lead male, she had her responsibilities looking after Arion and juggling border patrols as well. So she offered him what he could hopefully use, when the time came, a piece of useful information instead. Clearing her throat gently, eyes switching briefly between the two Alphas, she parted her lips to speak. "I should hope they welcome your visit openly. I know their lead male...we have a solid friendship between one another." She affirmed, hoping to add an element of positive energy when it came time to meet the neighbors. With that matter settled, Zia took Iopah's cue that the meeting was over. Pausing to glance down at her son, she smiled warmly. "Go along and play, dear. I will catch up with you in a little while. Mommy has work to do." She nudged his haunch gently to nose him off, while Inkheart followed a short distance behind his son, after giving his silver mate a kiss on the cheek. Expectant blue eyes turning towards Nova and Iopah as if to say "Now, I do believe we had some renovations to do, yes?" -Zia fade out- [/dohtml] RE: Beneath this bold and brilliant sun - Koda - Sep 29, 2015 [dohtml]
Silence had become his friend. He had never relished in the ability to verbalize his thoughts, preferring instead for action and the ability to prove his self worth and the opportunity had come when he'd promised his wife a kingdom and the wolves who stood beside them a home--he would do anything within his power to see that continue. His daughters were quiet, a strange event even considering that they were mini prodigies of him, and he knew then that this meeting would soon be coming to an end. They needed to get to business shortly and standing at a meeting would only delay the packs ability to fill caches and hunt; an activity that was much wanted. He hoped to speak with his wife soon to organize the activity, her experience in hunting would come in handy as they continued to expand their trek of this broken home. "Since that is out of the way, if anyone has more to add, please speak up now. Otherwise, this meeting is over and I appreciate each and every one of you for sticking with us for so long." his words were met with more silence and he knew then that the rest of the pack were ready to disperse; he did not blame them. So much had happened to them within such a short time and the four puppies that stood as miniature replicas of their parents reminded him that their parents had a responsibility to this pack as well as them. He expected to see their faces for much longer within the next coming months when winter could possibly wipe out what they had worked so hard to achieve. He glanced at Silentium after the request to visit Oak Tree Bend had been extended to him and expected a response perhaps a retort, but nothing came therefore the pale male was under the assumption that the two would be making the long trek south. Their small pack needed allies, and although Zia had come from the very pack they were to visit, he knew her duties as mother came before pack politics--she would fare better making sure that Arion was happy and healthy. He nipped his wife's shoulder, assuring her that he would be meeting her back at the den with their daughters before the sunset, and made his way toward Silentium where he too gave the golden male a nip and nod--they would need to meet shortly after this meeting. There was much organizing to do and he hoped to meet with him within the next few hours to discuss the happenings of the meeting with Oak Tree Bend, but in the mean time, he would leave the rest to what they wished to finish after such an eventful meeting. -Koda Exit-- |
