RE: Go forth and prosper - Neha - Aug 13, 2016

Her mothers words came as no surprise. Neha had known about the upcoming visit to Grizzly Hollow to meet with their Uncle. Namid had pulled all three siblings aside earlier, informing them of their plans. The first born in particular, had been the most excited. This was a chance to meet a new family member, and to expand her knowledge of healing. What the rest of the pack did not know yet, was that she planned on staying, once she got the green light from Veho of course.

Her bright brown eyes drifted to the face of Nathaniel, who would be in charge while she and her parents were away. Meeting the guardians eyes briefly, she gave a small nod paired with a faint smile. She had the utmost confidence in the man. How couldn't she, after he had risked his neck for herself and her brothers, time and again? She knew he would handle leadership just fine for the brief period her parents were away.  While the meeting had been an exciting one, filled with news, it was also relatively short. With her mother declaring the meeting dismissed, Neha rose to her feet, sparing a glance over her shoulder to watch as Draven departed. Striding smoothly up to her parents, she tilted her muzzle up to plant kisses on their chins. "I'm happy for both of you. For all of us." She stated in a whisper, yet unable to hide the excitement in her voice at knowing that she would soon be a big sister. Veering away, Neha headed in the general direction of the lake, where hopefully she could catch some lunch.

OOC! So so so sorry this took so long DX

Neha seemed to be excited about the news of puppies while Cernan was harder to read. The next bit of news was interesting. The dark woman wasn’t quite sure how to take it. She was excited that Namid was going to see her brother, the pups would get to explore more, as well as making ties stronger with an allied pack but something didn’t sit completely right with her. Moonshadow shrugged it off as not important; she trusted her alphas judgment completely. That’s why she wasn’t worried when Namid announced that Nathaniel would be in charge while they were gone. He had to be qualified and able to do the job if they were willing to leave him in charge.

Namid asked if anyone had any questions and with no one speaking up she dismissed them all. The ebony female gives another nod and smile to her alphas as a goodbye. Her dark frame slowly rises as to not put any unnecessary weight on her right flank. She gives Kajika a smile before turning to leave. She wanted to get out of there before anyone had the chance to scold her for being out and about instead of resting.

RE: Go forth and prosper - Nathaniel - Aug 31, 2016

In charge. That was fine and all, he supposed. His pale green gaze surveyed those around him for their reactions, and none seemed to really be surprised by the words. They even looked at him with something that seemed an awful lot like... trust. Fools, was all he could think to himself, still refusing to see what they did. It was a mask, who cared if it was a highly effective one? If sometimes it did indeed feel just like his own face? He would continue the charade though, wouldn't let it slip now when Namid was depending upon him. They'd be gone for a short time, and it would just be three of them; nothing would probably even come up that would need him to act as a leader of any kid.

He would miss her, though, while she was gone. Her and the swan-braving duo that he adored. Making a mental note to make sure he said goodbye to both @Neha and @Cernan before their trip, and that was about all the thought he put into it all. Having no questions, he only nodded his head to the alpha pair before turning on his heels and heading off. There was work to be done, and that was a welcomed distraction from the nodus he'd created for himself.

RE: Go forth and prosper - Cernan - Sep 16, 2016

OOC: My apologies for holding this up!

A small smile appeared in response to his sister's salutation, and the tip of his tail flopped once. After a few more minutes one thing began to grow obvious; the absence of the Alphas' last child. Well, if Al was going to show up, he was certainly going to be late. Cernan felt the hint of awkwardness in the air, and chuffed quietly to himself. His brother certainly wasn't making up for much since his return. Ma finally began her speech, at least giving him something else to think about for the moment. Draven was introduced formally, much to the strange youth's obvious discomfort. Cernan couldn't really blame him. Large groups had never really been his thing either.

While the Queen was more than happy to openly accept Draven into the family, and Neha too, Cernan quietly reserved his affection and trust, for now. He still didn't know the foreign boy after all. So far though, he seemed alright. Maybe they could all hang out some time, though it wouldn't be him who initiated it; Neha, more likely. Then came the big news, the news that he was still struggling to fully and clearly understand. More kids, siblings. Everyone around him seemed to agree that it was good news, and at the mention of himself and Neha specifically a shy grin and a breathy chuckle broke forth. It would be interesting, certainly.

Then there was the announcement of their trip to visit Uncle Veho and his pack. Standard info, though a small sinking feeling in his chest began with the memory that Neha would likely be spending the summer there, if allowed. The tawny youth cast a happy look, though, toward his personal hero Nathaniel when his being in charge of the pack was declared, and offered a few wags as well. It all came to a close rather smoothly and swiftly. Cernan rose to follow beside his sister and head toward the King and Queen while the others wandered off. He smiled as @Neha offered her congratulations, prompting his fluffy blonde tail into another set of pleased horizontal swings. He had less to say, as usual, but passed his side gently across Ma and Pa's in both greeting and farewell before following the lithe silver form of Neha, as he usually did. Whatever she was up to was probably fine for him too.
