Kinis’ grin was enlightening to the male; glad to see it upon the youth’s face once more. There had been months when both of them been without even the smallest of smiles, but now with everything shifting together once more, the young tawny male was slowly becoming his old self again. The confident self he had become when they had been away from the River pack. Casting his brother a gentle nip to his cheek before he swept away, the male’s golden eyes then fell upon the peppered she-wolf, who also seemed as anxious to leave as the two males.


He nodded at her comment, agreeing with her silently before she moved forward, offering his chin a lick. As she too disappeared, the large Tainn fell back to the ground slightly, feeling the weight of tiredness pull at him, though it would be many hours before sleep would finally come upon him.
