It is mine! - Rebecca - Jan 03, 2012 "Oh yes, reasons indeed" was Rebecca's reply to his question, with insane shine in her eyes and low, threathing tone, not looking at Rhysis. Eyeing the surroundings, she truly had reasons to stay. Some good, some... Not so good, but it didn't matter. This place was her home, she wouldn't leave. Pointing her eyes to him again, shine gone, now look that told nothing about her hate towards Rhysis in them. "I think you're pretty good hunter, am I right?" was her next question. Rebecca started to see less reasons to be friendly to him, hate and anger getting stronger by his every slippery word or movement, while trust to her speed increasing by every look he got from her. Soon she could end this, hopefully peacefully, not running away or revealing her feelings, just that the brute would leave and she would leave... Though Rebecca wondered that her good night sleeps were ruined for few weeks... Due that brute. It is mine! - Rhysis - Jan 03, 2012 Hunting? Now that was an odd question. He took a moment to glance down at himself. He hadn’t been eating properly, his ribs were visible and his legs were ganglier then ever, he was under weight and even now his stomach was gnawing at him for something to eat. It was such an odd question he took him a moment longer to answer. “I wouldn’t say that… I get by. Why do you ask?” It is mine! - Rebecca - Jan 03, 2012 "Just wanted to know" Rebecca said carelessly, eyes moving around, head tilting and shaking in slight amusement. Lazy smile on her face she wagged her tail in no friendly way. Standing up, giving a tip for Rhysis that now was time to leave for both of them. She didn't do more than stood up, waiting for him to do something before she would do anything. This to there and that is moved to here. "Is that why you look so... Unhealthy? Not having a good meal in some time?" her question seemed to be innocent. It is mine! - Rhysis - Jan 03, 2012 He chortled. Unhealthy? That was a fine way to put it. He didn’t say anything for a moment; instead he allowed his metallic grey eyes to watch her as she stood up. It seemed she was getting ready to take her leave, and he couldn’t allow her to leave yet, not until he had decided just what he should do with her. She was proving to be a lose end… he didn’t like lose ends. It is mine! - Rebecca - Jan 03, 2012 "Why would I tell it to someone like you?" Rebecca said backing away if he came closer. Oh no, she wouldn't let him to quick attack distance! Head up, as high as she could get it, still not as high as Rhysis', due he was larger than her. But he wasn't grown-up, he wasn't healthy, he wasn't great threath to Rebecca. She was more worried about the future. He would grow up. Fierce fire in her eyes, not letting him to get too close, physically or mentally. Hate and anger growing in her, blood boiling from those feelings. Ears slightly back, tail stiffened on the level of her back, she would not let him surprise her. It is mine! - Rhysis - Jan 03, 2012 He tried his hardest to contain his laughter. He felt it building up within his chest but he would not allow it to escape. As she snapped her reply and danced backwards he held himself in position, it took all his might not to lunge for her. Yes he was younger, yes he was a little on the thin side but he had been fighting since the first step he took. He was certain he could slaughter her where she stood… before she even realised what was happening. It is mine! - Rebecca - Jan 04, 2012 "I'm not going to leave anywhere" Rebecca whispered so that he would not hear. Then that crazy brute started to run to he den! He... Arrgggh! Stupid, idiot, insane, crazy...! She hated Rhysis. For sure. But he didn't know Thicket as well as she did. He went the long way, but Reba knew shortcut. Dangerous it was, almost insane to even use it, but there you didn't have to dodge all those branches. One strong leap with her hind legs and she didn't see Rhysis anymore, hopefully he didn't see her either. On her secret path. That secret path located well above ground, on a thick, large branch. It started as a tree growing nearly sideways, but it's branches grew higher, in low angle. You needed to know exactly what branches to choose to get where you wanted, and Reba had learned them all. It had taken huge amounts of time, hours after hours, but finally she remembered without having to stop and think. There she ran, on thick branches that easily supported her weight and were definitely large enough for running, jumping form time to time, rushing towards her home. It took very short time now that she was running very fast and not having to are about other branches. There were more space above than below. Final push, jump and she was standing in front of her den, waiting for Rhysis to show up. Head low, teeth bared, tail stiff, legs widened for balance, growling. Message was clear: Leave or I'll fight you. It is mine! - Rhysis - Jan 05, 2012 OOC: Just a friendly tip, I was told you're still learning the ropes so please take this as friendly advise! You used a little bit of godmoding there by saying that Rhysis was slow and that she vanished from his sight. If you write what the other persons character is doing, that’s considered godmoding. It’s fine to describe what they’ve already done, such as moved from standing to a sit, but if you control their actions such as when you said “But he was slow, definitely” is taking control of him- when I adopted him he was actually described as ‘built for speed not strength’ which makes a lot of the post void. I’ll reply to it however I just wanted to point that out so you’d be aware of it for the future. Practise makes perfect! :) He heard her flurry of movement behind him as he danced through the thickets. With his slim, streamlined shape not much stood in his way as he hurtled full speed back towards her den. The cold winter air stung his pale eyes, whilst the thorns of the thickets tugged at his fur and swiped at his eyes, but they were nothing more then a gentle touch compared to the torture he had endured in his birth pack, this was fun in comparison and as to what he was going to do when he got there… ah, it brought a smile to his mouth. It is mine! - Rebecca - Jan 05, 2012 OOC: I'll take it as that :) And edited the post. He.. Started to mark the area of her den? Mm... What use it was? Rebecca had never fully understood the marking thing, she didn't actually mark her den area, her scent was there because she spent time in there. Not having proper pack training, not having pack training at all, Reba didn't know that with marking it, you claimed it as your own. So she gave up her angry posture, sat down and tilted her head, staring Rhysis with amusement. What was he doing? Booring...! Yawning, she didn't let him get out of her sight. Eys still following his every movement, ready to attack or do something if he would do something she couldn't allow. But it was boring to watch the other marking around. Finally she decided to ask it from him. It felt eternity from her, but actually it hadn't been that long time. "What are you doing?" It is mine! - Rhysis - Jan 05, 2012 Was she… yawning?! He honestly couldn’t believe it… she wasn’t even bothered that he was claiming her den as his own? No… there had to be something more to it then that. This was common wolf behaviour, even he knew that, though he clearly wasn’t aware of her lack of pack life and knowledge. Well then, he’d just have to educate her, the only way he knew how to impart a valuable life lesson; with violence. |
