Gray triangle points folded at his laugh, and if she could her cheeks would have colored. Instead they felt warm, and round while she grinned sheepishly. Her long white tail did wagged though, hoping she might too. She would stop these what if's in her head. She would try and picture what it'd be like if she wouldn't be gone. Meeting the little ones of Alexander, seeing them grow and play. Would she have gotten to watch over them at some point? Life there were to many damn forks in the road. "Me to," she said trying to keep the sadness out of her voice.


Head inclined, hearing the vague light into his past life. She frowned a little, she had no idea what her mother or her father had hoped for her. It was a nice thought his parents had wanted him to be a father, but sounded like they were upset it was not sooner. She supposed grandchildren were the next best thing to children, if not better, and who wouldn't want to have grandchildren? It didn't seem fair they should hold timing against him, but what was fair any more? There was a numbness starting to form in her torso and she pushed herself up to her haunches. Unmatched eyes met his bright pair, and she smiled broadly, "Just think you get to be the dad this time, they'll be yours and the most wonderful wolf's you ever met," she said her words honest, and light trying to cheer him up.
