RE: Poems, Prayers and Promises - Koda - Feb 15, 2015 [dohtml] Silence lingered momentarily after his speech and he took the moment to gaze over those who attended with a renewed since of respect and admiration. He was lucky to have such wonderful and loyal members, they had been around for more than one leadership change and yet they remained with the intention to see to it that the Woods was as prosperous as it was intended to be and for that, he was grateful. He found his gaze lingering a little longer on Iopah, the loyal second and a woman who had recently captured his heart and thought fondly of the time when one day the two would stand together to address their pack, which would no doubt be filled with a strong line of their offspring. Thinking of puppies made his heart skip a beat and he wondered then what Nina would think of the two of them bearing pups, would she allow them to breed despite the pack rules--it was a long stretch and he thought to ask her soon. Before he could gather his thoughts any further a blur of blonde fur caught his eye and he watched the small form of Silentium disappear into the distance, he was obviously in no mood for a meeting and he expected half as much from a pup. This meeting hardly pertained to them, and with such serious news, he was not surprised that they would easily grow bored. Sighing deep, he turned toward Nina to catch her expression and found that she was just as concerned over his behavior and without missing a beat, the golden queen gave her closing note to the meeting. No sooner did she grow quiet did, dismissing the gathered members, did she disappear and he found his eyes watching her follow the footprints of her fleeing sons. Children were a handful and for a moment he contemplated following after her but decided against it, they needed their time and him intruding would only throw salt into their wounds. "I hope to see everyone adhering to Nina's wise words of advice. And expect to meet soon for a hunt put together by Iopah..." his voice floated to the ears of those still remaining before his feet brought him to where Iopah stood and he nipped her shoulder affectionately. He'd been waiting for the moment to get her alone and now was the perfect opportunity, he waited to see if she would follow him before starting off to where his den laid. {Koda exit} |
