A Star Wars Style Reunion - Naira - Oct 17, 2015

like I do

The tawny woman’s head swung down to sample the scents of the soil, a small smile coming to her face as her tail swung over her back in a wave. The smile she gave to @Triell was a genuine one with them being so much easier in each others company now that they had had time to re-adjust. “Nova has been by here recently.” she commented. It might not have been the trail they were seeking specifically but it would have to be a nice distraction for now.

She didn’t wait to see if her companion was ok with what she was about to do, she was too excited to see how her granddaughter had grown and to see how everything was faring for the new mother. She tipped back her head and howled for @Nova, it was a joyful song, mindful of the other criss-crossing trails that laid this way, convinced there must be a pack nearby and hoping it was one in which her daughter had found shelter.

She waited, with golden eyes turned keenly forward and her tail sweeping the air behind her. The only sign of her anxiety was in a quick turn to bump her nose to Triell’s cheek before her eyes turned forward again. Was she coming? Would she be here soon? How much had @Nalda grown?

@Naira @Nova

I'll be the bright, and black, that's making you run

It did feel easier being with Naira, but it would probably never be the same between. That didn't stop him from giving her a smile in turn, keeping in rhythm with her gait, and letting his own tail sway. It was nice to be moving, attempting to do something to put it all to rest. Since he had already left the pack he would try to put this time to good use.

The mention of Nova, ears pressed back, and he found himself trying to speak. More so trying to interrupt her. The woman was already howling, and Triell grimaced. He doubted Nova would be comfortable seeing him again. Still, Naira had not told her what he was. He hadn't exactly wanted to be presence for the telling. Naira never did give him the easy way. Even if she wasn't paying much attention to him, he smoothed his features, and  made himself stand his ground. Not feeling he was very assuring, but he would stand by none the less. How could he deny her happiness? There was no doubting how eager she was to see her daughter, and grandchild again. Maybe, things would be left where they were. Alone.
