in for a penny - Davin - Dec 19, 2015 [dohtml] It was time. The boy took a deep breath as he neared Kisla's location, having followed her scent from the borders where he had spent the rest of the day's rays after meeting with Lachesis. A strum of nervousness was vibrating along his skeleton, but he was aware that this had nothing to do with the woman he sought. Instead, it was what this meeting would initiate; true integration into the pack. He had been avoiding them all, even as his daily ritual centered around the chores he owed to Hearthwood River, as he was unable to truly come to terms with his situation and the fact that now, this would be the only family he would ever have. However, if he was truly to be what the priestess and her dragon needed him to be, then he needed to accept things as they were and participate in all aspects of pack life. He recalled that when she had accepted him into her pack, Kisla had informed him that she would like to hear what exactly Kjors had done to salvage Davin's life. The boy felt that this was where he should start, imparting the story to the queen, to make the changes necessary of him. Catching a glimpse of her through the redwoods, Davin called out with a polite woof to request her presence. "Mrs. Baranski? May I have a moment?" |
