I'll be the bright, and black, that's making you run

Despite hazy white clouds that streaked here and there in disarray the sky was a bright blue. The clearest he had seen in days. In fact the heat of the morning sun touched his coat, and for a change he did not mind the warmth it offered. Spring would take a little longer, but it was a sign. Just like the large patches of snow that had begun to slim, and trails that disappeared to reveal the brown earth. There was more than one change coming...

On this morning he was brooding. It had been too long since he had set foot over the mountain, and he could feel the void inside him yearning for the old. Hell, everyone else seemed to be getting around, didn't he deserve to venture out of the Bend? Do something without much reason. In his youth he had traveled frequently. Meeting new wolves, and memorizing new places to visit over. When was the last time he had done that not looking for anyone or anything? He couldn't remember, and it was enough to solidify his decision. He needed out.

With one specific location in mind he set out with only one steadfast decision: to return home at a reasonable time. Even if he  felt displaced, and entirely frustrated he didn't want to throw all he had aside. But, now more than ever he needed to feel like himself again.

Energy burning in his limbs he traveled up the bloody mountain, and made his way to the falls. They had always been a source of comfort with their roaring song. He needed to see if it remained the same. Following the rough cuts of the mountain, little by little he dropped down guided a lot by memory. Often the dark wolf would pause in his hike, looking upon the trickling water thinking that here time seemed to have slowed down. It didn't look any different. Once topaz colored eyes spied his rock,  he climbed upon it and sat with a content sigh just enjoying the sound of Bramble Falls instead of the wreckage in his spirit and mind.

RE: Suddenly fame has lost its attraction - Delia - Feb 29, 2016

Going to keep this very vague as this would have happened 10 days after this join thread. And I really wanted Delia to meet big, bad Triell :P

The dark cloaked woman tried to keep her nervous thoughts at bay as she traveled away from her children. But she needed some time to herself. She trusted Erebos enough with Maeve being with them that he would stay with the twins that he had fathered instead of abandoning them again. Sleep was had for the mother to achieve with her nervous mind always churning thoughts in her head. Thoughts of failure, Erebos leaving again, or one the twins or Maeve disappearing, Delia couldn't get away from them no matter how hard she tried. She needed a place to get away. A place that could drown out the noises in her ever productive mind.

During her stay within Silent Moon Plateau before it disbanded, she had been curious and exploded slightly. Delia had found a small waterfall within the mountains that was quite peaceful and serene. With her course set, she made her way towards the Falls she had once found in hopes of finding peace once again with herself.

As the distinct sounds of the Falls grew louder, her mind grew quieter with each step that brought her closer. Focused purely on the Falls, her silver eyes didn't even spot the dark stranger along the edge of the pool. Quietly she approached the water's edge, her darkened mask peering down upon the water's surface. It was then that the peacefulness that she sought out washed over her, calming her worries and doubts. It was then that she was revived.

The female's muted coat blended with the landscape, but it only took the slightest movement for him to notice her from the corner of his gaze.  He already knew she was unknown just by the sight of her. He was reminded how long it had been since his own travels. Yet, the dark brute remained poised as a statue. Silently, observed her as she looked upon the pool not far from his perch. Instantly he thought two things. Was she ignoring him on purpose or so oblivious to her surroundings? Should he kindly break her reverie or shatter it. He could use a good laugh, and he wasn't exactly in a very generous mood.

"Lean in too close and the Akhlut might want a taste," he rumbled, seeing what effect this would give him. The man had already decided he wasn't about to move from his place. Better yet he needed to figure out what sort of company he had at the moment. He wasn't sure if she belonged any where with the distance between them keeping details short. Hell, he didn't need to add trouble to his life. It did seem to find him all on its own.
