Well it seemed her little adventure away from the territory had proven rather fruitless by her standards. Literally. She'd been looking for a certain fruit known to be present in areas like the ridge and the willows, but found and scented nothing. Shame, she could have used some kind of insurance or protection, and the poisonous seeds of the plant she sought would have given her just that. Nobody yells at old women who offer food and so few people are inclined to deny their offerings. You wouldn't say no to your grandmother.

Rather obnoxiously she yawned, a loud sound from the back of her throat that all but announced her otherwise concealed presence. Well this was no fun, and so she rose from where she'd sat to observe and turned her head back the way she had come towards the well marked borders that offered her some sense of safety. One step, though, and an ear swung back at the sound of something, and she froze in place with a brief hum and just... stood. Listening. Was it someone, or something... She'd figure it out.
