And after he's been hooked I'll play the one that's on his heart - Morganna - Apr 08, 2016 March 21st, evening - during this thread so if you are at one you can't jump on the other for those who might like to spectate.
Slight pp of Wraith and Craw, let me know if you would like anything changed. Hecate is being escorted out in this thread. [dohtml] As the sun drew lower in the sky a meaningful glance was given to both @Craw and @Wraith. The clock had finally run down and not before time, she was sick of trying to distract herself, gritting her teeth and burying her nose in anything that might mask @Hecate's pregnant scent. She had planned to enjoy an early evening hunt with @Enoki and @Elettra but first... (She could only hope they would track her down and join the fun before the task was done). She stood and bowed down, her spine popping as she stretched, her yawn so lazy she might have been mistaken as a leader who felt obligated to make one final pass of the borders before she turned in for the night. No words needed to be spoken to her companions, they knew the task at hand. As the sun dipped lower beneath the horizon she wove between the willows, nose casting about in search of their quarry. The adrenalin was beginning to build despite her calm exterior. She had been itching for this fight for weeks. Morganna finally found the trail she was seeking. The white of her teeth stood out boldly in the fading light, a dancing cheshire smile. Whether Skoll held up his end of the bargain or not, she would keep hers. Hecate's scent had changed before her brother challenged, and the woman's fate was sealed. RE: And after he's been hooked I'll play the one that's on his heart - Craw - Apr 08, 2016 -cracks knuckles- Just gettin' him formally in here :]
There was only one dawn left before the expiry date on Skoll's promise, and as curious as Craw was to find out what would happen should Morganna's beloved brother fail to meet expectations, it was far more likely that the man would act sometime tonight. As the sun set, Craw had been waiting, ears twitching impatiently as he expected the dark Archer to announce his challenge at any moment. A short time earlier, Morganna had sought out Craw and @Wraith, who had been patrolling the borders together, and it was no mystery what for. Excited for the pieces of Morganna's plan to start falling rapidly into place, they had attended the leader, and together they three had waited for the signal, passing the time by searching for a no-longer-welcome face within the willows. The call still hadn't come by the time Morganna rose, stirred into action by impatience, he supposed. More than happy to be doing something other than waiting, Craw followed her without the need for any kind of prompting. Though Skoll had still to uphold his end of the deal, they would uphold theirs, though the poor man was currently oblivious too it - only through his own self-absorbed nature, of course, for how could he have expected his sister to do anything else? Stood silent and prepared ever at his leader's side, Craw would not say or do anything upon first finding @Hecate, leaving that pleasure entirely to Morganna. Really, he and Wraith were only here as encouragement if the woman became... unreasonable. RE: And after he's been hooked I'll play the one that's on his heart - Wraith - Apr 11, 2016 [dohtml]
RE: And after he's been hooked I'll play the one that's on his heart - Elettra - Apr 12, 2016 [dohtml] In war it does not matter who is right, only who is left.
Once more she felt an itch under her skin, causing her to grow restless and agitated. The spar she had with Morganna a while back had done much to ease her. The aggression of the breeding season, the sorrow of loosing her daughter and the worry over her mate's failing senses had been able to be placed into the back of her mind while she fought. Once more the Matriarch felt this craving, her tongue moving over the length of her grey-hued lips. The scent of Hecate's pregnancy had not been lost by her. She was yet another delicate, dove colored woman her mate had graciously let into the lands, only to be swooned by their son, Skoll, who had a knack with a lack of self control and disrespect towards pack law. Already Elettra had felt the loss of her daughter was to blame upon herself for allowing a fourth child to live among them. It was not a risk she was willing to let happen once more, not with Morganna's kin at risk, not for the likes of another one of Skoll's whores.
With a rumble from parted jaws at the sound of Skoll's challenging howl, Elettra stalked off, following the fresh sent of Morganna. When she was able to reach her, already both Craw and Wraith had made it to the party. Elettra was no full to Wraith's relation to Morganna, nor that he was not the only one her daughter had chose to lay with over the breeding season. Picking someone out who seemed most fitting from the group in order to use as a donor was not an act Elettra was not accustom herself. These would be her daughter's children and Elettra could not be more happy for this. Yet first, they must take out the trash. Snapping her jaws as an only introduction to arrival, she wiggles her way within the group to come trotting at Morganna's side. [/dohtml] RE: And after he's been hooked I'll play the one that's on his heart - Morganna - Apr 16, 2016 [dohtml] The gnash of her mothers teeth was met with her own parted jaws, pushing her shoulder against @Elettra as she tried to rile her into a short jaw spar as they moved, the wave of her tail betraying her harmless intent. Anything to get the blood pumping. To a casual observer, perhaps dark storm clouds had drifted to the earth (with @Craw serving as a deceptive silver lining) as the party moved with all the intent of those mounting a hunt, fresh on the scent, closing in on their prey. Her slender frame might go a long ways to cover her pregnant state, but the change in her scent was unmistakable. She wouldn't risk the lives that grew within her brothers latest toy and that was why she had sought out @Wraith and Craw first. Despite her confidence that she could put Hecate on her ass if needed she'd really rather not cause herself undue stress on such a routine task. For a moment she thought she saw a flash of white, a singular low growl the only summoning she would make. Words shouldn't be needed but she would speak them if she had to. First to see if @Hecate would choose to try and fight... or flee. But it wasn't to be. Scent already fading, a tuft of fur stuck to a branch was the only sign Hecate had ever been here. An arched brow was offered to her companions. Well this was news. RE: And after he's been hooked I'll play the one that's on his heart - Craw - Apr 24, 2016 For future reference, Hecate has fled WR as of this thread.
They would be denied any confrontation, which, while it disappointed Craw for he was rather keen to let loose some of the anticipation built up over the last few days, was probably for the best. Any doubt about where @Morganna's matriarchal mother stood on the matter was dashed at the aged woman's eager joining of their party, Craw having shifted aside to make room for the willow queen to pace at her daughter's side. The solidarity shown by @Elettra pleased him; where once they had talked of how to dethrone her, how to rise Morganna to her place, the present day showed that such conspiratorial discussions had been unnecessary. The female Archers were united now, if not at first, and he trusted it to be a lasting union. As @Hecate's trail led them to the borders, the implication was obvious. A tuft of pale fur snagged on a hooked branch was all that appeared to be left of the woman. Glancing back at Morganna, the look on her face said it all. "We need to be certain," he rumbled, lifting his nose to brush against the tuft briefly, just to eliminate all doubt that it belonged to Morganna's rival. He snorted, the delicate fur bending in the rush of air, and he looked to his companions again. "I'll follow her trail to make sure this is as it appears. If it turns out she did make the sensible decision..." He sneered, brushing his rough tongue over his lips. He glanced pointedly to @Wraith, implying an invitation to join him if he wished. Fixing his yellow gaze then on Morganna, he continued: "What are you going to do about them?" Nothing. [/dohtml] RE: And after he's been hooked I'll play the one that's on his heart - Morganna - May 15, 2016 @Craw @Wraith @Elettra Sorry for dropping the ball on this one, I couldn't even look at it without turning into a potato. I'll try and archive this on 30th May at the latest. Remember you need 3 replies to claim LP.
[dohtml]Perhaps the woman had more sense than Morganna had given her credit for after all. As Craw declared that they needed to be certain she nodded. "As long as she stays gone, I really don't give a fuck. If yer find her and she plans on comin' back make sure she knows she's not welcome." It was straight forward enough. Skoll had not upheld his end of the bargain so there was no requirement for her to make a secret of her unwillingness to uphold her own. Her look bade him to come and find her once he was done, but she had her mothers disappointment and her own to deal with first. A nudge of thanks was offered to both Craw and Wraith before they set out, her attention turned back to Elettra. With the scent of deer on the breeze, she moved to nudge her mother with a shoulder, head turning to the south. "I need ter kill somethin', up fer a hunt?" If Elettra showed no interest it wouldn't stop Morganna from heading out to scavenge, although of course chances were higher that they could grab something worth killing if her mother came along too. |
