RE: if it ain't love - Cernan - Nov 30, 2016

OOC: Sure thing!

While it seemed that Draven himself agreed with the suggestion, his body was another matter. Cernan stepped hesitantly forward, still keeping an ear on his companion and glancing from the corner of his eye. He saw the little bit of give in the other boy's step, the clenching of his face when the bad foot began to bear weight, even for that short, hobbling second that it had to. It affected his gait most obviously, but Draven seemed to notice the way he was being watched and tried his best to shake the Vuesain prince's concern with a grin.

Well, at least he wasn't in so much pain that he couldn't fake being alright. More out of a sense of the awkwardness that would ensue if he kept checking up on Draven every few yards than a real belief that the boy was okay, Cernan turned his attention to his own pace. There was that hint of worry in his mind for this new pack-mate of his. Injuries didn't always heal perfectly, as he'd been told. So far, Ma was impeccable in her ability to fix he and his siblings' ills. He didn't have much reason to fret that this time would be different, really, but there was a chance. For now, the youth focused his mind on their immediate task. Those birds had to be eliminated before they had more than a bad ankle to deal with.
