Here we go again - Moonshadow - May 22, 2016 [dohtml] OOC! Random Event: Moonshadow, you have inadvertently angered a bull bison. He has taken offense to your close proximity and is charging. @Vespertio @Namid maybe this could turn into a pack hunt? The journey back to Fallen Tree Cove had proven to be more difficult that the young woman had anticipated. Her flank was severely inflamed after her fear induced sprint to the Ghastly Woods. The image of a blackened home filled with fallen trees, charred ash dusting the ground filled her thoughts. Fear riddled the girl’s entire body as she tried her best to make it back home as fast as she possibly could. The stormy weather had seemed to have passed but there was a left over gentle breeze that rustled the leaves around the ebony woman. The scent of home filled her nostrils. The familiar scent lacked the smell of burnt foliage and wood which made her heart leap with happiness. Maybe the orange monster didn’t consume her home and her pack was safe. The scent grew stronger and she knew that the packs borders weren’t far off. Lost in her happy thoughts Moonshadow wasn’t paying much attention to her surroundings and came across a bison – a bull bison to be exact. Her proximity to the large mammal royally pissed him off. The bull’s snort caused the girl to freeze immediately. Shit she had really done it now. Cursing quietly to herself so that she didn’t piss off the creature more. Great first the bear now this? This isn’t going to sit well with the pack. Slowly turning her head towards the bison to gage how far she was and if she could possibly get away before he started to charge. By the time her silver eyes made their way to the large beast it was already moving towards her. Shit she cursed again. Adrenaline and fear will her injured leg to move more than it should. She turns and sprints along the borders not daring to lead the animal towards her pack. |
