RE: Ashes - Drestig - Sep 10, 2016

Those milk teeth were sharper than you might think, though Percy was quick to release her hold on her father, blowing what was probably meant as excuses into his ear. The tickling made him laugh even more, fighting to keep from shaking his head more, out of fear it might jostle the pup from his back. She was handling that all on her own though, apparently content with her victory and the end of the climbing game. Drestig hadn't even time to worry about her safety, before she'd landed on the ground with a soft thud, leaning back against his side as her lips split in a wide yawn. The little adventure seemed to have drained of energy; In typical puppy-fashion, she went straight from top-speed to zero in one moment.

She took her time to along his flank and curl up against his chest, but then she was out, faster than he could wish: "Sleep tight." Strong legs stretched out on either side of her tiny body, shielding it from the world as she rested; Soon enough she'll be back out t explore it… But for now she lay peaceful, and he watched over her in silence, content to simply study the small quiver of her whiskers as she dreamed, chest rising and falling with every breath. He realized he could watch her forever, that was of course if he didn't have to go hunt for her, and look for other wolves to help build her a safe home; But not now. Now he would tend to his daughter, making sure nothing disturbed her in her sleep, and then perhaps, when she woke up, they would play more games.
