and i wanna tell you who i am

can you help me be a man?

It had been an intolerably long while since he had last visited the Eastern side of the mountain. The last he had seen of Sahalie had been the night he had broken down in front of her. Guilt stabbed deeply at his gut that he had let silence stretch between them for this long, knowing that she would worry for him given the state he had been in last she knew. It had been hard to help, unfortunately, with so much to take care of back home. Now that it was all under better control, he was here to fix things with the girl that had proven to be his closest friend despite the distance between them.

Using what he knew of the area, small snippets gifted to him through casual conversation, and some tracking abilities he was able to finally pin down her home. Rain was coming down heavily, and while the forest offered good cover, travel through other terrain had rendered him pretty much soaked. The weather had done little to deter him, however, and he at last stood at the edge of Oak Tree Bend's domain hours into the afternoon. He'd seen other parts of the forest before plenty times, but again he was made to think of how much he liked it here. The dark and the foggy atmosphere (made stronger by the drizzle managing its way through the canopy) highly appealed to the boy.

Sven gave his waterlogged coat a good shake to try and rid himself of the excess droplets before tilting his skull back and sending up a call, requesting Sahalie to meet with him. Hopefully, no protective adults showed to investigate; he very much would rather talk privately with her, and immediately, instead of wasting time offering reassurances to a stranger.
