slim pickings - Renier - Jun 30, 2016 [Dohtml] Anyone is welcome here. :3 Renier Lyall
don't worry about me the heart is suppose to bleed A harsh snort pressed from his nostrils. Carrion did have an expiration date and this had long passed its. But, he choked down another bite, and another. It was garbage compared to what he was use to eating, but it was 'food' in the most basic sense. Right now he had no intention to lose weight. The world might have felt like it had ended, but it hadn't. It kept a spinning, and he kept going with it. After stripping what meat was left from the long dead deer he moved on, needing one hell of a drink. Nothing tying him down he traveled a lot lately. He had every intent to fill the map in his head, and what else better to do? Recalling the lake he had seen from Windsong Fjord, after his late dinner he figured why not check it out. There would be some freshwater feeding it, and he wondered what those blobs of land in the lake looked like up close. He couldn't even remember the last time he swam nor caught fish. The idea of fresh meat made his stomach buzz happily. What appealed most about the lake was it wasn't blemished with pictures of old. While the sun was still keeping the evening hot, as his paws hit the small pebbles the breeze blew across the water into his face and there was some sort of serenity to it. On the other hand the islands in the lake were quite the distance away. Golden eyes calculated, and a muscle twitched in his shoulder. He held to the shore, yet to decide what to do next. Though who was he kidding he always pressed his luck, and was seconds from jumping in to make the swim. RE: slim pickings - Vitani - Jul 01, 2016 [dohtml] She hated the summers with that hot sun and golden rays. Granted she could easily count herself lucky with how light her pelt was instead of those all black colored creatures. Regardless she would whine about it as much as she wished. Who out here would stop her? The land seemed rather barren of any good life. These lands weren't familiar to her despite her time spent here before she had disappeared so quickly. Of course she saw a glimmering source in the distance through all of this dead land. A rather large lake it seemed to be, and if she could see right there was something lurking on the shores. Creeping with interest in what it could be she kept low. Almost sulking along the ground, closing in the distance by the moments. Keeping her breaths light and her paws silent as possible. Leaving enough space for respect but enough to be heard the pale Lieris let her voice out. "Familiar with this part?" She jumped right in not wasting any time with silly games or tongue twisters. She wanted to know certain things and perhaps this male would be of use to her gains. With this quick interaction she'd either be able to continue on or hit a barrier. Re: - Spirit of Wildwood - Jul 01, 2016 There is a family of deer nearby. Hunt Opportunity RE: slim pickings - Renier - Jul 02, 2016 [Dohtml] can use hunt opportunity in some point of the thread if ya want, but they can talk a bit first. @Vitani Renier Lyall
The bullet in the blood came from those you trust The last second when he was about to push off, a voice shot from behind him, and he didn't make to the water. The rogue twirled round without a second thought. Eyes landing on the silver figure of a lady he had never met. It was the teal irises that stood out among her pale coat that held his attention. He couldn't quite decide if they were cold, or warm. Their color made it hard to decipher he concluded.Only another second passed when he realized she had asked him a question. "Not exactly," he replied in a matter of fact tone. He brought his limbs together in a more parallel manner while he spoke, his faint mask perfectly neutral as always. "But, I've been traveling them for some time. Can I help ya with something?" He hadn't been here, by this lake, but he was growing familiar with the lands better than he had been. If she wasn't from around here, it was quite the land to navigate. It was only because he was polite, and surprised by her sudden, sneaky appearance did he tack on his offer of help. He could make no promises. Those were little things he intended to do away with like a few other of his qualities that meant shit. |
