This House Don’t Feel Like Home - Inna - Aug 22, 2016

Since her return from the outlands Inna had been going about pack business or what she thought that should entail. Hunting to help keep the caches full especially with three puppies and the rest of the pack to feed keeping them full was of the upmost importance. There were also the boundaries to keep up which she thought that she should help with. Still she felt something was missing that she had yet to put her paw on. She wanted to do more for the pack, it was her home and despite her short absence she felt it was her birthright. Now that she was older she felt she could help in areas that she hadn’t really understood before though she didn’t know where to begin.

Until she figured things out a little further she went about her daily tasks which she had started early that morning when it had felt cool but as the morning continued the sun had heated her ebon coat up. So after dropping her latest kill in the cache the thing foremost on her mind was finding a bit of shade to cool off in. Inna knew there was a nice shade tree just across from the communal den that should do the trick. When she reached the place she had in mind she found that no other wolf was resting there. Only a moment after getting comfortable a movement of the bushes near by caught her attention causing her to let her gaze rest on that spot before calling, “Is someone there?”
