Six impossible things - Thora - Sep 05, 2016

Thora, you have an unbearable itch that you simply cannot reach on your own. If you know what I mean…

Why she had stuck around, she wasn't yet sure. There was a pull to the Willows if only for the familiarity of the reigning family's ties to her homeland and yet, well she wasn't the sort to go throwing herself at the first pack to cross her path, if any. It was hard for her to consider walking among males, and a large part of the appeal of staying on her own was the freedom to simply walk away from situations that made her uncomfortable.

Still, she was enjoying the adventure. There was so much to see, new scents to sniff - plants, familiar and foreign to examine and wonder if they held any worth as tradeable goods. Today, she had discovered a magnificent waterfall, and thought her silver eyes had picked a path to its top. Well, she didn't want to be getting rusty and who knew what treasures might be hidden at the top?

It was a long climb, but well worth the view once she finally reached the grotto at the top. It seemed as though the path continued around to the east, perhaps it would bring her out somewhere on the mountain? It couldn't hurt to check. But for now she would rest by the pool that fed the falls, looking around this way and that before eyes fell on beige protrustions, hidden away in the shade. She moved to investigate. Surely not.

RE: Six impossible things - Latif - Sep 08, 2016

@Thora

He had been drawn by the sound. It was like thunder that came from the ground and he could all but feel the vibrations in his paws. Out of pure curiosity he made his way to the source. It wasn't like he hadn't seen a waterfall before but from the rushing noise that filled his ears this one was likely the largest that he had ever seen. Latif padded forward through the trees until the parted from view to unveil a waterfall and just as he had guessed it was the largest one that he had ever set eyes on.

His mouth opened in awe as he watched it spill down the mountainside, smaller waterfalls splitting it apart before merging back together again. Gold eyes slowly tracked there way up to the very top where they paused at the sight of movement. His ears flicked backwards as he watched the form. Was there someone up there? He blinked and when he opened them it was gone. Surely he hadn't imagined it? Without thought he looked the area near the waterfall over and he thought he spotted a suitable way to the top. His legs were moving before he had made a conscious decision to go up it.

He wasn't used to climbing up rocky areas and mountainsides so when he finally reached the top his legs were trembling. With the ground safety beneath him he flopped unto his stomach panting. That had been harder than he had thought it would be. He scanned the area and before long his gaze settled on the form silvery wolf. He tried to speak a greeting but a rasp came from his throat instead and he quickly wet in lips embarrassed and tried again. "Hello there."
