September Skies - Vespertio - Sep 11, 2016 Papa Vesper wants to take all the kids out on an outing! @Lunette @Ismena @Cernan @Neha
Weather: Light breeze, 60 degrees out, patchy skies [dohtml] There was change riding the wind that day as the near dabster agouti patriarch lounged upon the flattened surface of the naturally formed cave's roof that marked the communal den for the Fallen Tree Cove wolves, wisp of fur lightly tugged in the direction of the breeze like a child toying with the hem of their siblings clothes begging to be followed and played with. All around the lakeside territory various signs of change were beginning to take root, making themselves known like they always did when one season was drawing to a close and the other toward its beginning. Summer and its scorching heat would soon be a thing of the past to make way for cooler days of Autumn and the spectacular display of leaves once vibrant green transforming into shades of red and orange that made the timbers look ablaze with color. Gazing upon the first clusters of leaves high above already beginning the process, Vespertio wondered what his youngest daughters would make of such a drastic change to their ever growing world. A possibility crossed his mind and the picture painted warranted a chuckle to escape his lips imaging the skittish Lunette ducking for cover once the trees began to lose their fiery hued companions. Her rambunctious sibling Ismena no doubt making it her goal to collect every leaf that fell and add it to her treasure hoard. Enjoying such lovely thoughts; a most welcomed relief from the stress of finding a suitable replacement for Namid, an idea struck and the tawny male was upon his paws in an instant, scrambling down the fallen timber that served as a ladder to his stony throne in order to poke his head into the communal den, chuffing to summon the forms of not only his youngest daughters, but his previous litter as well. This was going to be a trip for father and all his children. [/dohtml] RE: September Skies - Ismena - Oct 13, 2016 Woowww It only took me a whopping month to respond to this! I'm so sorry :( Life's been rough.
[dohtml] Ismena smiled as she heard her father's summon from just outside the den. She had just been contemplating a good enough reason to step outside for a bit, he must have read her mind. Maintaining her giddiness, the small fae propped herself up and trotted right out the door, wondering if anyone else would take the hint and follow. "Daddy!~" The child cooed, tail wagging blissfully behind her. "Wow! It's really nice out t'day!" She stated, it'd only been recently that the girl discovered her love for chilly weather. Wind especially was something she favored, personally finding amusement in the way it messed up her otherwise well-kept coat. "So why'd you call..? Got somethin' planned?" Ismena chirped, trying her best not to allow anticipation and curiosity to devour her. Perhaps he wanted to take the kids out sight-seeing! Surely it was the perfect time to do that sort of thing, with the tree's shifting hues and all. Or maybe he had something important to discuss, like their mother. The fae sure hoped it wasn't the ladder, serious discussions always found a way to put her in a bad mood. It was easier to ignore the things that hurt, after all. [/dohtml] |
