autumn blues - Reiko - Nov 30, 2016 [dohtml] The last precious days of warmth were upon them, though the young Tainn had no idea what was to come. Of course, his parents had told him about the 'snow', and sparkling white blanket that would inevitably coat the Earth. Seeing was believing though, and so Reiko would just have to wait. His still-growing body shifted from one side to the other, crunching the rapidly decaying leaves beneath his mass. It seemed like ages ago they were still green, hanging high atop the trees, too far for him to reach. He liked it better that way. The forest floor was much quieter then. Sighing, the young boy flopped back to his original position, his rounded stomach once more hugging the ground below. Everything was so boring nowadays. Everyone seemed to work a little harder preparing for the Winter months which left him with too much time alone. Even Naira seemed to be changing. Nobody spoke of it, or at least not to him, but he had noticed. She often forgot things, a trait she'd only just picked up. He pondered over it sometimes, but he too had decided to leave it be. She'd be fine once it warmed up again. [/dohtml] |
