[dohtml]Okay, she was somewhere between mentally freaking out, thinking “this place is really fucking creepy” and “oh my god this place is so awesome”. The dark forest that seemed to whistle, cat-calling her and beguiling her to travel farther into it had caught her in some sort of half terrified and half amazed trance. She was far from a tyro to wandering, but she had yet to find such an intriguing site as this in a landscape. She’d never heard the forest talk to the wolves inside it, regardless of the messages they were trying to send. It was also dark, partially because of the time of day, and partially because of the cover that the trees provided the forest floor. She didn’t say a word, but her jet black pelt blended right in with her surroundings, a smile on her face as caramel eyes examined every nook and cranny she could find, looking for potential hideouts or places she could use. Perhaps she could even bring Kerb… she wasn’t sure if his bright and boisterous personality could handle such a dark and dreary place in large amounts, but poking around with him later certainly wouldn’t hurt. Either way, she was amused, and perhaps a little apprehensive. She blended in so easily… but did that mean other wolves did too? She’d had to watch out for that… at least she wasn’t far from the edge of the land, where she could quickly pass back to the Creek and from there, the Wildwood where she had left Kerb with the promise of being back by nightfall… she’d have to be leaving soon to make it back in time! But… there was time for a few minutes more of wandering. |
