Instead of immediately going about hunting or patrolling Inna decided to check in on her brother and make sure he was doing okay. Since his return she had been worried about him for many different reasons but so far he had kept his promise to her and that meant something. She was glad to have at least one family member back in Hearthwood with her. After checking on Aleksei she went to check on the pups to make sure they had everything they needed and to get them anything they asked for, within reason of course. She remembered what it was like being a pup of their age, it did seem such a long time ago though.
Before heading out for her first duty she had built up an appetite and thought it best to get something to eat before going hunting, doing so on an empty stomach was not a great idea. Inna liked to keep a couple of things buried not too far from the den but not too close either for a rainy day. Or really just anytime she didn't want to take from the packs cache. When she reached the tree that she kept her cache under she started to dig it out but didn't get very far. The ground under the snow that had covered it was frozen making it so she couldn't get to the food she'd stashed. “What am I supposed to do now?” She stated aloud to herself.
