Redemption - Inali - Feb 28, 2017

@Aideen <3

It is never an easy thing to get over grief. Truly, Inali didn't think it was possible. There would always be hurt, but in time, the pain would hurt just a little less. Sting just a little softer. She still thought of Naia, her lost mate. Every day. Yet, she was no longer stuck in her fog of grief. Things were better now or at least getting there, but now Inali had a new emotion to delve into. Guilt. She felt guilt because these past few months she had done nothing for the pack. She had only lived for her grief and nothing else. She felt guilt for not running after @Bane that day, that awful day, of Nina's death. She should have run after him, but the grief of losing Nina on top of Naia had crippled her and the woman could barely stand on her own paws let alone chase after the boy that had come to mean so much to her. The guilt ate at her, but there was nothing she could do. He was gone, and she had no idea where in the slightest idea he could have gone. She wanted to apologize for not being there for him, but she couldn't just up and leave to go find him.

There were others she needed to apologize to. Others she had let down. She wanted to apologize to her leaders for not pulling her weight, for letting her grief consume her so completely she could barely move most days. She would seek Aideen out first, for the petite woman had always wanted to befriend the queen and healer. Where would she be though? Near the medicinal den? With that thought in mind, Inali decided to head there first.
