I hear your voice - Draven - Apr 24, 2017 Backdated to April 18th Sunny, -9C @Neha hoping to get this done fairly quickly so we know whether to start a QV join thread and where Sachiel will be born! [dohtml] Quaking Vale had existed for a little over two weeks when Draven had gotten permission from his brother to return to the mountain and the girl waiting for him there. It had been almost a month since he had seen her last, and every day seemed to last a little longer than the previous. He knew in his heart that he could not honestly say he loved her as Alastor did for Sahalie but he cared for her deeply and he missed her even more so. They had spent so much time apart when she had gone to learn the art of healing from her uncle and again when he had selfishly turned her away. This time it had been him who had left the mountain and it wasn't for a short time either, Draven would not be returning to the Cove. The trip up the mountain had been harder than normal, heavy snows dragging his trip out an extra day than he had planned but he made it. Now the sun shone down clearly without challenge from the clouds, even if the temperature had dipped down lower than it had been with the cloud cover. His breath billowed from his nostrils as he took in the scents and the smells of the mountain that had once been his home. He didn't approach the borders, he knew this was no longer his right but Draven felt a strange pang of homesickness as he looked across the impressive stone kingdom. Just from being from such a distance he could tell that pregnancy hung within the pack, but the man could not tell who was pregnant and could only assume Namid was expecting again. The dark Leigh knew this would only make it harder for Neha to leave her home, but he still hoped that she would choose him anyways. Draven knew that it was a long shot, choosing the man she had something of feelings for over the life of a princess and her family but he was trying anyways. Lifting his muzzle to the sky he called for her. |
