RE: Oh, the magpie brings us tidings - Enoki - Aug 02, 2017

Either feel free to fade with Enoki falling asleep if either of you wants to get another post in @Nicolò @Ravenna

Smoldering amber eyes watched the expression upon her mate's face closely as she proposed the idea, no doubt striking a chord that would register both joyful and sadly within the man at the memory of both his siblings he had lost. His nostrils flared and the sadness that filled his gaze was not missed by Enoki, although she expected such a response despite the tender smile that tugged at his lips and the whispered approval. Silence then reigned supreme amidst the birthing den as both parents set to work thinking of a proper name that brought the two women together, Nicolo breaking the silence first with a name that was perfect. "Adeltra." She tried the name on her tongue and enjoyed how easily it flowed, nodding her head in approval. "I love it."

Then, it was time to give the boy of the litter a fitting moniker of his own and dark brows quirked curiously when their father threw out a name and the history that came along with it, belonging to his grandfather which had the smile upon her lips spreading further. "It's perfect. Romanov it is. What do you think Ravenna?" She shifted her gaze toward the entrance of the den, wanting to know what the silver woman thought about the newest additions to the family before exhaustion would inevitably draw her into a deep slumber and the children would feast to their tiny heart's content.

RE: Oh, the magpie brings us tidings - Ravenna - Aug 08, 2017

Her uncle had pondered the idea of a little boy and little girl name for his first litter of Willow Ridge pups. Perhaps his first litter of pup's ever. It did not take him long to think of the names, which made Ravenna certain that these names were something he had been thinking over throughout the duration of Enoki's pregnancy. Adeltra and Romanov. The little girl's name a particularly unique mixture of both get aunt's names and the boy's after the very first Archer. He could have even been nicknamed Roman, which was the name of his grandfather too. Ravenna thought of what she might call Adeltra for short.. Elle? Maybe Del or Deli even?

She was torn from her thoughts when he leader spoke, to which she turns and stretches her neck into the den's entrance to look over the couple and their two new children. She was lucky to have been here to experience, the only one of the pack members lucky enough to have been here for it. Now she could savor it all her own. "There perfect." She spoke with assurance and then adds, "Mom, dad and aunt Adele would be so happy..."

His mate’s acceptance of their daughter’s name caused a warmth to travel through Nico, his gaze softening further when his gaze finally returned to his wife. It meant even more to him that she was accepting his family’s customs, going with his suggestion that their son should be named after his grandfather. It meant much to him – that Enoki understood how much his family history meant to him. Nicolo’s pale yellow gaze drifted towards Ravenna, almost completely forgetting that his powerful niece was there. Her words caused an ache of longing to pull at his heart. Oh, what he would give to have Adele with him now.

His voice was raw when he spoke, eyes glowing with affection, "Thank you, Ravenna. That means a lot." The man’s gaze turned back towards his wife – who was no doubt tired – and smiled brightly at her. She was everything he needed in life and now he had their two children as proof of their love. He looped around back towards Enoki but remained near the lip of the den. He would be sure that no one would disturb them while the magpie and their children rested. No harm would become them.
