on the level - Kerberos - May 04, 2017 @Naira only. Let me know if I need to fix anything <3 || May 5th, Morning
[dohtml] He was partially exhausted. Not nearly as exhausted as Maera or even Naira who had just recently given birth. Perhaps he felt more emotionally exhausted. He had a daughter who was mere days old which meant he was now a father. Naira had recently birthed more children which meant there would be more Tainns to look after and teach (not that he truly minded it). There was also the worrying case of Triell. It seemed the cold had not been kind to the male. His shoulder was bothering him enough for there to finally be a switch in roles. It left Kerberos with big paws to fill but hopefully, it would just be until the weather was nicer. He loved the Draw with his whole heart but as long as Naira and Triell were about he had no desire to take the reigns. Since Maera was taken care of for now he quickly slunk away to check up on the other not-so-new mother. Kerberos wouldn't be surprised if he was met with teeth to his nose but it was better to at least try than not know. He was showing up empty handed but he figured he could get her anything in particular if she asked. He did not bark to alert her. For all he knew she could be napping with the newborns and Kerberos had no want to awake a slumbering mother. Lowering himself to his stomach he whispered loud enough for her to hear. "Naira?" His yellow eyes peered into the log den where she should be. RE: on the level - Naira - May 09, 2017 [dohtml] glitter & gold Naira
It was fortunate she was awake with her good ear turned towards the den entrance or she might have missed his gentle greeting. Raising herself up with little ceremony as the small bodies rolled off her and bunched closer together for warmth she walked towards the entrance of the den, grateful for any excuse to stretch her aching limbs. She took a moment to bow down, before leaning forward and stretching her legs out behind her. For good measure she followed it all up with a shake, singular strands of her shedding coat dancing away on the breeze, glittering in the sunlight. The worst of her aches gone (well those caused from stillness anyway) she turned to Kerberos with a smile. He was her co-lead now, that familiar gnaw of worry at the back of her mind as she considered whether or not Triell would have it him to rise again. This had happened before, when his injury was new, and she was no spring chicken herself, though her stubborn nature was enough to make herself power through it. "Is everything alright? Is Maera well? and your daughter?" Not that she would mind if this was merely a social call but her first thoughts always tended towards the catastrophic. RE: on the level - Kerberos - May 11, 2017 [dohtml] He backed up to give the mother room and watched the little bundles. Two more bodies than his own little family but they seemed just a squirmy and fluffy. Kerberos allowed Naira to stretch as he took up a small smile and his tail wagged behind him. His head shook softly. "Everything is well. Maera is healthy and resting with Lacey, our daughter. She's healthy too. Mouthy, wiggly one." He wasn't sure if the word of his daughter's name had gotten out yet. "I really can't imagine if we ended up with three little ones too." The tawny male chuckled softly. Six children would have been far too many for the small Draw to handle. "How are you and the children, though? Triell?" He was, of course, worried about the dark Tainn but perhaps all he needed was a bit of downtime with his family. There were other things to be worried about but also celebrate. Naira had three children for heaven sake! More Tainn's for him to help out with. It filled him with a certain giddiness. Not to mention his own daughter would be able to grow up with the prominent family of the Wildwoods. Kerberos had to take a deep breath just to calm his electric nerves.
