It is mine! - Rebecca - Jan 02, 2012

Rebecca couldn't tell her feelings, they were mix of hate, amusement, irritation and so many others. She hated that lanky brute more minute by minute. He pretend his every movement, every word, just everything! Yeah, he had never met evil wolves... Right. Most likely his family was pure evilness. How Rebecca wished she would have the skills of her grandparents, to be able to torture and break down wolves, only to leave them die after it. It wasn't about that she would be too friendly to do that, but she didn't know how to do it. How to cause massive amounts of pain without killing... It was pure art to do that.

Tough winter? No. She didn't answer, only small disagreeding sigh.

Her eyes started to burn in strange way when Rhysis asked about her health. It was a burn she didn't feel, but you could see it. Voice was not much more than hissing between her teeth when she replied: "I do NOT tell my secrets to someone like you!" Realizing that this might not be the smartest way to go, she looked kinda fearful after her words, ears turning back to apologizing posture. Small, sheepish smile pulled across her face as she lowered her head and glanced Rhysis, shame shining on her face and eyes. "Ehm, sorry, I sometimes forget who I'm talking to" she quickly explained. It wasn't exactly true, but you could not say that she would've been lier now, because... Actually she wasn't.

Hmm, so the female had a bit of a temper did she, and much like himself she was trying to hide her "flaws". It appeared they were playing a game of chess and they were in the beginning stages, testing the waters with their expendable pieces first. It appeared he had to weigh up the situation a little more carefully then he had first anticipated, flattery wasn't going to work here and she clearly didn't want to give away anything about herself. Fine. He'd change the direction of the conversation, after all it wasn't just his sisters he was here for...

"No need to apologise. I must come over a little strong... habit of mine I guess, I'm a little too open. Sorry." And he left it at that- smart as he was he had no way of knowing how she was going to react now. He ensured to keep his most humble and relaxed pose as possible... yet added a small touch of sadness to his face; trying to get across just how taken back by her snapping at him like that. Someone give him an oscar!

It is mine! - Rebecca - Jan 03, 2012

Rebecca wanted that brute far from her, far from her den, far from Thicket, far from Relic Lore if possible. She didn't like him, she didn't trust him at all, she couldn't think anything good about him. But here she was, playing a deadly game with him. One wrong move and fight might start. Chess of death it was. But now she just wanted to avoid fighting, and get that male peacefully far from her den. Odd that she wasn't so scared for herself, only her beloved den worried her...

Rebecca glanced the brute from under her broes, wondering what she should do. This was a new situation to her. She ahd survived through many not so good encounters with alphas, but with an evil rogue that pretended to be good... She was little lost. She must say he was good pretender, too bad he tried too much. Maybe Rebecca would then even believe him. But now, there was no way she would trust him.

"You have no need to apologize, you speak just fine. My fault." she then decided to say. As friendly as she could say, still little wary. Not even thinking of truning her back to him.

He smiled in thanks for her comment and nodded. “Ah well, I’ll try to keep those comments to myself, Rebecca.” He added. He took a moment to glance around them, surveying the area as it were. It was a nice area, nice and secretive, perfect for hiding and getting lost. He felt comfortable here; hidden away… it’d be a perfect evil lair. Which reminded him, he really did need to find himself a place to call home soon. Though he’d only been here a day or two, one should always have a place to retreat.

“So, have you been here long?” he asked. It was clear she didn’t like to answer many questions, sticking to idle chitchat would be all for now he supposed. How very tedious. He had hoped he would have found out more information from her, but she was clearly in no mood to give it. It left him with only a few choices… walk away and her have air her suspicions about him, which would obviously not bode well for his plans. He could spend more time with her, try to change her feelings about him but with how wary she seemed that was going to be a tough one… or he could kill her, but he really didn’t want to get blood on his paws so soon. Gah, what a dilemma!

It is mine! - Rebecca - Jan 03, 2012

"I came here at autumn" Rebecca told with friendly voice, while disgust swirled in her. Hopefully that brute would leave soon... Far from Thicket. Reba didn't know other wolf keeping den in Thicket, so she ahd started to think it as her own private property. Not true, but it had grew in her brains, Thicket was her and no one had nothing to do in there. But specially her den, only the ones she invated were allowed to get near it. She was little over protective, perhaps.

Rebecca eyed the surroundings. She was sure that if tough time would come, it wouldn't be hard to shake Rhysis off her trails. She knew Thicket better than most wolves, at least better than that newbie. And never facing a faster wolf than her in Relic Lore, she wasn't too worried for herself. Rhysis' big built told something about his abilities, he was strong most likely, but big muscles ment slow speed. Rebecca wasn't strong, not at all, but she could run.

Not trying to keep up the conversation too much, Rebecca wondered what she should ask. Probably she would only hear lies, but... "Where did you come from?"

It is mine! - Rhysis - Jan 03, 2012

It appeared she wanted to make chit chat, that suited him just fine. After all, the more chit chat they had, the more time he had to try to get her to relax in his company. It wasn’t like he wanted to gobble her up or anything. It wasn’t like he wanted to settle down and start a family of evil spawnlings. All he wanted was a chat, a chat so that he could call upon her should the time ever need it… so it was nice she wanted to partake in a bit of small talk.

“I was exiled from my pack a few months back, maybe more… kinda lost track of time I guess… I doubt you’ve heard of it else you’d have recognised my last name.” He said, telling the complete and utter truth. “What about you? Where is it you come from?”

It is mine! - Rebecca - Jan 03, 2012

That could actually be the truth... Exiled was evil enough for him. So yes, Rebecca decided to believe him, though she didn't know about the time he gave. But it didn't matter that much. Recognize his last name? She didn't, but she wasn't too sad about that. Her last anme gave enough trouble. At least in Alaska. "I came from Alaska." was only she said. Reba could have go and tell about her family lines, but that brute would use it to bad. She didn't take that risk.

Then next worthless question. What should it be? "Why you're a loner?" All her words were carefully thought, she had brains and she used them. Nothing too suspicious if possible, and at least nothing that could be turned against her.

It is mine! - Rhysis - Jan 03, 2012

Alaska? That was about as specific as his answer. Ah, they really were into the small talk now. Still, he had to press on… tedious though it may be. “I’ve never been there. Why did you leave?” He asked with a tilt of his head, legitimately interested in her answer. She seemed as normal as they came, so why was she alone? He tended to assume that most females would run for the comfort and protection of a pack. The only females he’d ever known in his life were spineless cowards, he could only assume she should be the same, he didn’t know any different.

It appeared she was thinking along the same lines when she asked her question. He smirked for a moment before he answered. “I was exiled alongside my sister, Volkan, the one you’ve met when we were much younger... We only parted ways a few months ago and I’ve been trying to find her ever since. I’ve never really had much thought about anything else.” And that, was the truth; it’s just their reunion wasn’t going to be a happy one, he was to make certain of that.

It is mine! - Rebecca - Jan 03, 2012

Rebecca wondered his words. Okay, he didn't tell much. Neither did she... Same lines, bro! Right... No bro he was. Enemy, threat. "I had no reason to stay" was all she told to him. It was true, her family had died, she had no relatives and no friends outside her dead family, so why stay? For nothing, so she didn't stay, she simply had no reason to. Shortened truth it was.

He hadn't thought about anything else... Wait. What if he actually hadn't? Rebecca started to get even more wary with him, she didn't have good picture about Rhysis at all, what if it was true? If he was as evil as she thought, what would he do to poor Volkan? Luck that she hadn't tell much,a nd good that Volkan had Swift River protecting her. "Are you going to stay here, in Relic Lore?"

It is mine! - Rhysis - Jan 03, 2012

No reason to stay? Well that worked for him, because if she did make herself a nuisance there would be no one to miss her… He was still debating what to do with her once he was finished her, she obviously wasn’t going to be of much use to him, not with her short answers and the tension rolling off her in waves. He made her uneasy, that was obvious, the problem was going to be if she left here and started mouthing off to others about her “feelings” about him. “I’m sorry to hear that. I assume you’ve found a reason to stay around here?”

He held in a snort. Stay here? He wanted to setup a pack here. He was an heir, a rightful heir to a pack which was robbed from him. He was born to be a leader and what an excellent one he could be. And whilst he’d never have him homeland back there was no reason why he couldn’t realize his destiny elsewhere and here was just as close as anybody. “I should imagine so.” Was all he said on the matter- no point blabbing his plans to this female.
