climbing uphill - Aisling - Jan 24, 2012 The dainty paws of the white she-wolf carried her up the perilous slopes of Riddle Heights. It felt good to be moving again, rather then stayed curled up further south amongst the space trees. She had educe the energy from her stationary form. It had taken a little bit of effort to really get going though. She couldn't remember the last time she had eaten and she'd felt a little lightheaded. But she'd managed to nab a skinny rabbit, hopefully something just to kick start everything so maybe she'd be able to get something more substantial later. The sun was high in the sky, but mostly obscured by clouds, giving the air a chilly nip. Although she was heading north, she was also going up. The route Aisling had taken ended up being a bit roundabout, and she began to head back down before she reached the height of the Heights, moving diagonally. The view in the distance looked so familiar, and her tail wagged, causing her steps to move a bit more hastily, skidding slightly upon the loose stones. Yelping, she scrabbled for a foot hold, though it only made her slide faster. climbing uphill - Triell - Jan 24, 2012 A mostly sunny day he headed away from the grove in hopes to nab a bite to eat. He had not hunted for himself, and he was craving something fresh. He was hoping to get enough courage to find Volkan. He did not know where she lived now, and had started the task at the falls. He had last seen her there, and though it was childish he imagined startling her in the rocky cavern. It was empty, and his nostrils breathed in the old scents. It took only that for the doubt, and depression to creep back into his soul. Why did he have to see her? Then, and now? A quiet whine no one would hear he quickly turned his back, and started up the rocky outcrops of the heigths. climbing uphill - Aisling - Jan 25, 2012 [dohtml] This was a bit unfortunate, wasn't it? She was on her way back, to try and reacquaint herself with the world. She couldn't live in hiding forever, alone. The past weeks had felt like years, and the last thing she wanted now was to just go tumbling off of a mountain. That was terrible. Rather than trying to run up, when she would obviously keep sliding down, she maneuvered herself forward, and tried to skid to a stop by digging her paws into the rocky terrain. Focused upon the ground, when she finally looked up again, there was a black form blocking her fall, in a very purposeful way, it seemed. Oh no! Why was he doing that? Did he want to fall too? Aisling began to shake her head, trying to coax him to move before they both fell to their deaths. Aisling hadn't taken into consideration, however, that she was, not only small, but weighed quite a bit less than she normally did. And that was saying quite a bit, as she wasn't that heavy to begin with. As the mountain came close to leveling out, she slowed down, and did eventually run into him. By that time, she'd squeezed her eyes shut, and tried to press her weight down as hard as she could. When she hit him, there had been a bit of force behind it, but not enough to really move either of them anywhere, especially not off of the side of the cliff. Realizing that she'd stopped, she scrabbled back, sitting slightly back on the slope, paws braced so she wouldn't slide into him again. <b style="color:#388d10">"Oh no, you shouldn't have done that. We both could have died. Oh, that would have been awful!" Aisling half-mumbled, half-spoke normally, but didn't make eye contact with the male. Her ears were back as she more or less spoke into her own chest, head tipped down. <b style="color:#388d10">"speech." climbing uphill - Triell - Jan 27, 2012 i always think of shutterfly when i see aisling. xD |
