I'm a believer - Elias - Jan 06, 2018

All welcome!!

Elias hadn't been through these parts before and in all honesty he couldn't say he liked it here.

It was too dark, the trees too tangled, and in all it seemed like the setting of a bad dream. The scent of wolves, a pack, lingered on the wind. The faintest trace, but it was there, to the east most likely. Elias knew about Charred Ash Draw and their neighbours Willow Ridge, but the same couldn't be said for the pack that lingered in these dark, dreary woods. What sort of wolf would call this place home? And more importantly, had @Thuban crossed through these parts?

On one paw he hoped so, as it would mean he was closing in on his friend. But on the other he couldn't imagine Banny feeling very at home here, he was a good guy, not the sort who belonged in a place like this.

As he continued on, pushing further east and away from the Heights the forest seemed to change. The atmosphere shifted, the trees remained tightly packed together but they didn't feel as...sickly. Pulling in a lungful of air, Elias' shoulders sagged as he came to a stop, his bird-foot sinking into the deep snow. This place was okay, he could handle this. Probably.
