RE: Seven seconds - Nellie - Jan 20, 2018

Greer Archer. So this was him, huh? The quiet one. Nellie could almost sense the change in her sister's mood as the pacing ceased, and she came to stand beside her. The word uncle fell delightfully from the darker girl's tongue, and Nellie had to suppress the eye-roll, lest their uncle think it was meant for him. If Tilly was setting herself up to be the sweet one, then better let her get on with it. "Good ter finally meet yer, Uncle." The broad wave of her tail mirrored the sentiment. "Ya on yer way down th' mountain, or did yer jus' come ter run us off?" Her voice was gruff, but her tone remained light, and friendly.

He regarded the girls quietly, his mercury gaze softening as it flitted between the two of them. Two of Morganna’s five children had found their way to the Heights, which meant they were on their way west to meet up with their mother. Did that mean the other three were not far behind, or were they ahead of the two sisters? An amused smile rolled onto his features at Elenora’s question, his head shaking softly. Not run off. Come meet. He shrugged. Morg told Greer about. They shared the same blood; Greer wanted to know who his nieces and nephews were, as he had been waiting for their arrival. Others? He asked, motioning to the expanse of rock behind the girls. Where were their brothers?

She let her tail give a few easy sways at her sister's questions. They were good ones and Tilly felt no need to interrupt or add-on. If this man had wanted to run the duo off then he certainly wasn't doing the best job. The icy Archer-Lyall had to fight back a snort at the idea. She wasn't here to tell their Uncle how to run the place.

"We got others with us. They're not too far off in any direction." She shrugged assuming that if he wished to meet her and her sister than he might have known of the numerous brothers following too. The brothers being the others. That didn't mean she knew exactly where each one was, though. Especially Jayseden or Bojay. Tilly figured they'd hit precious Sterling the moment they got back onto their mother's trail.

Nellie offered their newfound uncle a warm smile. "Yeah, they're 'round 'ere somewhere." An eye-roll was added for effect, though she wouldn't have exactly called it over-dramatic. "Can't keep 'em together fer nuthin' And boy would keeping the four of them all in one group make things easier on her. "If yer 'appen ter see any of 'em, could yer bite their ankles an' tell 'em ter 'urry along?" Last she had seen any of them was down the mountain. Jayse would be back around eventually, and Sterling was probably running to catch their mother first. That just left Bojay... He was the wildcard, really.

The ebony Archer nodded silently in response. So the brothers were coming, they were just lagging behind… or they had gone ahead of their sisters. It seemed like even they weren’t sure where they had gone. An amused smile rolled onto his dark, stoic features. The silver-dusted sister—Tilly Morganna had called her, as she had not introduced herself—was more tight-lipped than her sister. Nellie, on the other paw, reminded the shadow of her mother. Rough sounding words and a good-natured attitude. Greer will, he chuffed in amusement, his smile widening at Nellie’s comment about her brothers. Come, he added, his mercury gaze sweeping from one sister to the other as he motioned for them to follow with a flick of his nose, rest for night. Continue later. He wanted to get to know his nieces, even if he wasn't the verbal type...
