a stranger's love - Romanov - Jan 20, 2018 [dohtml] The boy looked rugged. He had not been keeping himself in top condition for a few weeks now. Seeking company was out of the question too. He did not any worrying looks or stern words. The piebald boy often lingered near his father's - @Nicolò's - den entrance before he peeled himself away to tend to other matters. Although Romanov shied away from the loud noises that seemed far too frequent. Instead, he usually hid away under his favorite willow tree. It was a mostly silent spot (excusing the sound of nature) tucked up against the northern border. That was where the boy hid away that late morning. He hummed softly to himself, amber eyes closed as he thought over stories he had been told before. There was the warm memory of his mother and her soft voice, the morning light making everything glow with grandness. The discussion has been filled of reaching the skies and flying along with his mother's home. Perhaps that was where she had gone off to. It was a warming thought even if being abandon still seemed so cold. [/dohtml] Note - set after Lorcan/Nicolo challenge
RE: a stranger's love - Lorcan - Jan 21, 2018 [dohtml] Keeping this vague! Following on from his confrontation with Nicolo, Lorcan needed some air. The agouti male had felt guilty enough about the challenge and having a gathering of wolves around him for the whole thing had made the ordeal even more awkward. With an agitated huff, the subordinate broke away from rocky terrain which surrounded the main den and headed towards the more dense area of willow trees to the north of the territory.[/dohtml] RE: a stranger's love - Romanov - Jan 21, 2018 Romanov did not budge when the tawny healer settled by his side. One amber eye opened to notice the closeness. He hummed softly after the older male's question. The Archer boy had been settled up here all morning, unaware of what had transpired down towards the heart of the territory. He had been trying to avoid questions like the one that had passed through his company's lips but his head nodded anyway. "I believe so." Each word had been picked delicately. Romanov wasn't oblivious to his rugged looks that had once been more princely but he believed himself to be fine. Everyone else though? Well, the boy had no idea what they spoke of him. He hoped that everyone was more focused on his father's poor condition than his own. "Nice up here, isn't it? No one barking or growling or any kind of ruckus." Amber eyes finally opened to look at the healer's face. Romanov found Lorcan a rather pleasant wolf, even more so for sticking around even after he was healed. RE: a stranger's love - Lorcan - Feb 01, 2018 [dohtml] Lorcan gave a soft hum at the young male’s carefully worded response, as his golden eyes once again glanced over to scan the rugged unkempt fur of the black and white pup. The healer wouldn’t press on the issue, not just yet anyway. The last thing he wanted was for Romanov to grow annoyed with his prying and leave. Instead he offered the boy, whether he was looking over or not, a small smile and turned to gaze across at the snow covered willow trees that surrounded them.[/dohtml] |
