check please - Tilly - Jan 27, 2018 January 26th, Late night, Light Snow, -2°F (-19°C)
Her nostrils flared at the scents surrounding the area. Most of them were familiar and offered a more heart-warming sensation compared to the unfamiliar ones. Tilly might have made herself known sooner if she wasn't busy lurking. Unlike her foolish brothers, she did not push the boundaries of the borders on the lagoon. She stayed far away before moving in. Tilly was ready to make an appearance. The Archer-Lyall's lean form lingered near the eastern markers. Orange eyes scanned the area wondering if someone might have already found her. Although she supposed not everyone may be so nocturnal. Which also raised the question of if it would be appropriate to call out for an audience. Decisions, decisions. The boy had been lurking close enough that his mother would notice his presence, he had even spied her a few times as she made her way from one place or the other, stiff in her shoulders and sharp in her eyes, but she didn't call, and he didn't either. He knew she knew, and that was enough for both of them. He had made it, and that was the condition of their freedom, wasn't it? Make it here alive. Copper eyes trailed over the latest arrival, the ghost of a smirk on his lips as he drew closer to a silver flank. "Surely Mother is bound to be in bed by now, no?" His voice was soft, barely a whisper in the night as he looked towards the towering trees. "You took your time dear." [/dohtml] RE: check please - Tilly - Feb 02, 2018 She had not been expecting company to come from behind. Her silver tinted fur raised softly as the familiar voice danced into her ear. "Doubt it." The icy Archer-Lyall snorted. Sure, her mother had seemed to be busy going across the lands but did she have time to be sleeping yet? Certainly not! There were her children to be expected. "Don't ya blame me. Ya got one sister who worries herself half to death and another brother who can't be herded. They're to blame." A smirk lacing her lips as orange eyes sought out the pale cream form of her usually hidden brother. "It's good to see ya, though." She whispered in warm tones. It was Jayseden that the icy Archer-Lyall worked best with. The girl may have paired with her sister time to time but no one compared to Jayse. She wanted to ask him a few questions but perhaps it was best to appreciate his current presence and not pester it with busy thoughts. His position had always been precarious, walking a tightrope between his siblings, playing mediator, weighing up his options and jumping (or not) when he judged it was in his best interests to do so. Of course, he had shadowed their entire trip, dropping in when he felt it was necessary to prevent murder then fading with the shadows just as quickly, but he had missed the easy way of living that came with belonging to a place. He didn't plan on joining his mother's pack, but he didn't plan on straying either. If this was where his family was, he wouldn't wander far, because he knew they were bound for bigger things, Tilly and Nellie especially. It might have been a genuine sentiment, but his eyes narrowed, a smirk tugging at the corner of his mouth none the less, a low, noncommital hum offered in response, rather than his regular drawl of is that so? but she would hear it none the less he was sure. "So what are you planning, sister dearest?" [/dohtml] |
